  1. Dude if you got a Niner ROS i might have to stab you with a spoke.
  2. oh my bad sorry. My Multitasking sux. only just learnt how to use two tabs on mozilla. so was distracted and lost track of the conversation.
  3. Would love to see these play lines. Thought I had found them all, and there was nothing that needed any kind of big travel bike.
  4. Oh ok. So you have centre lock hubs. I understand. There should be no problem with the rotors and brakes matching. I run shimano brakes and have had ashima rotors, avid G3 and now Hope floating and no issue. I have a buddy running shimano rotors with Avid brakes no worries.
  5. Just a question. Why would you want to change to centre lock? What's the benefit?
  6. Damn I thought maybe it was my dignity. Loss it there a couple of weeks ago.
  7. Loved the course. First time I have ad to change the gearing on my SS in 2 years. Super tough, but such fun. I don't think the beers before the start and the beer a lap helped though. Haha. Thanx Richard.

  11. Yeah Frame is 18 months old and has about 4500km on it. I have put about 1000km on it and I'm a racey 102kg My bro has put the rest on and he is 92kg. The bike gets punished, gap jumps, drop offs and countless endos. Its done many MTN marathons, trailseeker marathons and weekends in Mankele and Sabie. Here is a pic of the break. Happened on the 5th time he hit gap jump on the spruit between virgin active and Tana rd.
  12. yes up here in Jhb i have had my GT peace frame and fork Sandblasted and powder coated with primer and a colour coat for R 450.
  13. Not only the picture but the product description says rotors. Some brake sets come with rotors some dont. But these clearly do. Send a PM to Naas he seems like a solid guy. Maybe it was a packaging error.
  14. Hmmmm that explains the smell
  15. kinda reminds me of a certain flowerbed in Cullinan!
  16. Not my Idea of a fun day on an SS. There are alot of other races better suited to SS. Neil Frazer did it on an SS and after 5 km he popped out the back of the A batch like he was going backwards. (not sure of his gearing) You either gotta spin out for 90km and climb well for 16km or, You gotta be geared for the flats and walk the climbs. either way its not gonna be a tough race just not gonna be fun. Cause you gonna be overtaken ALOT.
  17. You Know it
