  2. Hillbilly Handfishing on the Spruit
  3. Dude wasn't the forks problem. Was all me to blame on this one.
  4. Ai ai captain, Feet up watching the bokke pump the poms.
  5. But my steel GT peace fork on the niner.
  6. Front brake hose ripped off as I went over the bars and hit the fork with my ribs
  7. Definitely not an issue with the strength of the fork or carbon. I had previous abused the fork far beyond the intended use plus I'm a nice racey 100kg
  8. ok so it turns out the Niner fork was not perfect after my last entry into this thread. Happened this morning on our 94.7 recci. shoulder and ego hurt
  9. Done 4x 94.7 all on 34:18 and the only place you suffer with spinning out is M1 down to Corlette Dr. then again I'm pretty slow
  10. waahahahahahah Exactly. i figure i was going to fast on the last attempt so by limiting the gearing i can get the speed right.
  11. Yeha but the Peace is also a SS
  12. I guess It was Inevitable. No the real dilemma is will I still ride my GT peace? Or do I part with it so it will be where it deserves, ON the Trails!
  13. hahaha whats wrong. It hardly ridden, one lady owner, been used to ride around on tar for 94.7 training.
  14. wahahahaha classic
  15. hahaha thanx bugger
  16. haha that was my theory, like I said to myself before the jump. "I'm not made of porcelain, whats the worst that can happen, I fall and still get kudos from my mates." haha.
  17. Hey Dude would have been keen to try and hit it again but my wheel was not quite round. haha. and noone wanted to lend me their wheel. haha I did have a mate offer me his Spez stumpy FSR to try it again but I have abot 18kg on him and his suspension wheezes when I pedal let alone jump it. so i thought i would cut my losses at a new rim and skip the Suspension rebuild. hahahaha
  18. Hi Wayne. Tyre held air and I still managed to ride it 8km to Fratelles but the rims is bent and the seam slightly split. So gonna need a new one. which sux cause these wheels are only 3weeks and 400km old. :( Dammit.
  19. haha Niner might ban me from using their kit.
  20. haha yeah yeah. I was a little over Zealous with my takeoff speed. Maybe its time to get some suspension or lessons from one of "The Rats" All I can say is those Niner forks are Solid after close inspection its still 100%. I cant see a Chinarello fork flexing like that and not becoming a pile of splinters.
  21. Ok so I managed to ride it out but still a balls up.
