  1. Good riding! I think it's time for a trip to CT!
  2. I guess they're hoping you can't climb the fence...
  3. What kind of riding do you want to do?
  4. Tell her to get a Chumba, they are THAT good!
  5. Anyone else think the interview was completely boring?
  6. I read Nipple Clamps
  7. I'm starting to think the Trials bike may be the wrong bike to learn on. The front end is very low, so it's difficult to get to the balance point smoothly. I have to put a lot of force into lifting the bike, and that often unsettles me already. The balance point is also a problem for me. When you reach it, it feels as if you become weight-less. It freaks me out completely, and then I chicken out. I did manage to double my manual distance today, so I'm now doing about 4 meters instead of 2! I'm going to keep at it though, I'll need it for 4X racing. Tomorrow I'll take the Chumba on to the BMX track and see if I can get a manual going over a few of the bumps there.
  8. Cool' date=' but please bring your full-face helmet. [/quote'] ? Oh yee of little faith - but for you?my Paduwan?I bring the DH helmet just in case And when we're done you can teach me your front-flip! [Hijack] I rode Rietvlei 2 weekends ago, and it's a great venue! One of the best I've ridden so far. When are you organising a Hub ride? [/Hijack]
  9. I'm talking Manual. Can't wheelie for sh!t, but on the Trials bike I can't sit and pedal anyway.
  10. I've got: Art of Trials Tricktionary West Coast Style Freeride Fundamentals and Mountain biking I've watched the Manuals chapters on all 4 and I still can't get it!
  11. Cool, but please bring your full-face helmet.
  12. I've made it my mission for the week to get a half-decent manual going. Yesterday didn't go too well though. I get the front wheel up, but then about 2 bike-lengths later it drops, and I can't keep it in the air. Maybe I'm not lifting it high enough... Anyone have any decent advice?

There's more to life than XC!
  14. I'm sure it can take the abuse, it seems solid enough.
  15. The STP is great, it'll do the job fine, so will a GT Ruckus. If you want to go a little cheaper, look at the Mongoose Ritual. Oh, and don't listen to jrussell, hardtail is the way to go!
  16. So maybe the middle-ground would be the right option? A 24" jump bike?
  17. BMXers will say BMX, DJers will say DJ. The nice thing with BMX is that the shorter wheel base is easier to jump on smaller jumps. The DJ will be better on rough terrain. Personally I would go for a BMX - cheaper to maintain, more fun and chuckable.
  18. Speak to ngala24 about a Chumba full-susser. You know you want to!
