You guys should join me for a Trials session one weekend. Seeing what people are doing on that trail that runs around the Trials course normally makes me shake my head in disbelief. Pushbikes, bikes with training wheels, people that obviously can't ride... all on a Green 5! I've seen people crash, or turn around and go back out of the entrance, or cut across the grass, daddy walking behind his kid on the push-bike carrying the kids' helmet! We should have a few hundred Idiot badges made so we can hand them out there on weekends.

I like the idea of having marshalls. Just take a few regulars, give them a cattle-prod and let them have some fun. Problem solved! There are big signs up with the rules, signs saying 'no pedestrians' etc, but it seems that no one can read, or no one cares. A cattle prod will make people think twice.

Too much singletrack could actually kill me. Normally, when I hit singletrack I just keep going as fast as I can for as long as I can. The pain in my side and the dots in my vision normally slow me down, but if the singletrack doesn't end I may just literally ride myself to death.

On weekends it is a real problem. I'll actually bring it up next time I chat with Riaan. I've actually seen a dad taking a nose dive down the one 'roll-down' in Drop Zone while walking his kid through. I had such a good chuckle! They also wreak havoc on the Trials course. When we arrive to ride there's normally pallets and planks all over the place. Very irritating. I just can't think of a good solution. Maybe they can get teams of riders to patrol the park, can't really think of anything better.

Nah, there's too much nasty stuff happening on the Hub lately. I'll rather keep quiet and protect the innocent guilty. But don't worry, they know who they are!

At least they're on the track, not like certain members here who can't stick to the single track, and then give excuses about sore ribs.

Just enter any race at Northern Farms. I think the terrain there is perfect for CX.
