I've got the Candy SL's on the 'Goose and they work great. I think the Candy is only something like 14g* heavier than the Eggbeaters, so weight isn't really an issue. * Need someone to confirm, I suck at remembering weight stuff.

We're hoping that the Trials playground at the Bryanston bike park will give a bit of exposure to Trials. Not sure if there will be a revival, but it seems that the guys who're more into jumping and urban riding are showing more interest in Trials.

I had explosive spurts once. I think it was from bad seafood. I still can't eat prawns after that. If you want to improve the power, maybe try to hold them in longer?

Hey guys! Sorry I bailed so early today, but I was so hungover I couldn't even trackstand! I had a nice nap when I got home, then some lunch (breakfast) and then I started feeling better slowly. Went back to the park in the afternoon to do some riding and some building, and I'm seriously impressed with the GT. The geometry makes the bike MUCH more stable on the rear wheel than the other toy, so I made lots of progress today. We left the park just after 7, after finishing the trials rig we started building. We'll still add balance beams and a few small things before we start with the expert rig. I hope I can get a handle on the beginners stuff by the time we're done with the expert rig. Oh, the unicycle guys are crazy! They were riding the trials rig with us!

That reminds me: I need to stock the fridge!

Difficult so say... I may get a new toy today, but the seat will be too low to ride the trails. The 'Goose can't do the trials course. I could take both, but then I may have issues deciding which one to ride. Need beer. Hog no function beer well without.

Guess we did a great job of not being on the same trail at the same time! Either that, or no one recognises me if I'm not on some ridiculous red with yellow flames bike. How embarrassing.

It's this bad boy here: Goose The only problem with it will be weight. Definitely not a XC plaything. Long travel, suspension seat post, overbuilt frame all add extra weight.

What size are you? Mike's has a medium Teocali Super on the floor at last years price. It's pure temptation, but I can't afford it right now.
