  2. Restaurant here in Port Elizabeth called The Grass Roof has those A frames, works well as huge venue for cyclist's. No issues that I've seen with kids ( and there is loads of kids there on weekends). I personally am not overly fond of putting my carbon wheels in the 'slots' whereas you can fit a great deal on the A frames
  3. Absolutely
  4. Once again you are sponsoring cycling activities all over the country but yet again fail to include Port Elizabeth or East London
  5. For the first time in 5 years not going to bother. Road Race route looks crap/dangerous with narrow roads . You're going to have riders climbing slowly and at the same time riders racing down the same road? Plus I feel accommodation prices have become ludicrous
  6. Well Said!
  7. Interesting reading, lowers my opinion yet again of Wiggins and surprisingly raises my opinion of Cav'. Make no mistake Wiggins is a brilliant rider, just appears more and more of a dick. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/cycling/sir-bradley-wiggins-apologises-after-shocking-guests-with-crude-sex-act-joke-at-dinner-for-childrens-charity-8972987.html
  8. Hi, sent you text message
  9. Sent a battery that had been giving problems to Stellenbosch Thursday lunchtime. Received a replacement at my business 20 min ago in Port Elizabeth. Have to admit that I'm seriously impressed. Well Done to Petro and the team at Extreme Lights.
  10. To be honest I share his sentiments to an extent. Been cycling for 3 years and with all the races I've done I can't quite crack that Sub 3. Went for a small warm up ride Saturday morning with a mate, we met my wife afterwards for coffee at the amazingly good Giovanni's in Green Point. Standing next to us are 5-6 rather loud and obviously well off chaps chatting away in good kit with even better bikes. So good luck to them I think, until I hear on how they're so fearful of being tested as most of them are taking a Schedule 5 drug. My wife's ears hear this as she's in the medical field and tells me they were talking about Reactivan, how it's a stimulant and how bad it is for you. Now I'm well aware that these knobs are more than likely the exception but it did make me wonder what's the point of me riding every winter at 4 am to train and to try make up for years of not cycling when these clowns are popping stimulant's and the best part is they're not even Pro's?

Does anybody know of a 'Lost and Found' section? Mate of mine lost his computer
  12. Fantastic. Watching a bunch of girls running around, trip, get stretchered off and earning a gazillion more than a procyclist.
  13. Does anybody know if this is going to be televised ? Or are we paying close to R700 per month to watch drivel like Kardashian crap?
  14. I agree 100%, he said the more he was saying he didn't have any money the more frenzied the attack became.
  15. Just come from casualty now, spoke to Kobus. Says riding down Heugh road and saw two guys walking up towards him, as he went past they stabbed him in the back of his neck. Goes down hard and the one piece of excrement starts making off with his bike whilst the other is stabbing in a frenzy shouting how he wanted money. Kobus was lying on his back kicking and trying to defend himself, arms and hands are a mess. Fortunately some cars came and the other animal ran off. So we don't have to contend with cars trying to wipe us out, even cycling early is unsafe due to this kind of excrement walking around
  16. Sounds daft but depends on what you're going to use it for? I do mainly road races so not much point using it for that, bought one last year for Sani2C which was great but been lying in my cupboard ever since. So personally I feel it was a waste of money
  17. This is dreadful news and very unnerving , we passed him a few minutes after it happened and we were saying how he didn't look good at all. Sincerest condolences to his family, so very sorry to hear this.
  18. They are the Velocity series, apparently the Edge series are the replacement
  19. I was wondering the same, asked brother in law what series they are as nothing on the label.
  20. Explains why I felt so strong then....
  21. Hello all, Relative sent me a Hincapie cycling kit and I'm amazed at how comfortable it was after 143km ride. Although one can purchase online is anybody aware of local retailers that stock them? Take care all.
  22. True, but being so hot makes it a little easier to bear
  23. I really don't mean to be willingly cruel but SuperCycling's LeeAnn Paulick is painfully annoying
