Why all the complaining about bottlenecks? I see that somebody from group X finished in 2:14, somebody from group S finished in 2:16 and groups T and R finished in 2:17. Could not have done that if there were bottlenecks
  2. I ordered a derailleur from Wiggle and had it delivered to a mate in the UK. Perfect service, on-time delivery, absolutely no issues.

Are you thinking of the correct bridge? I flew up the OXFORD road bridge (and we had no issue riding down the other side) but the RIVONIA road bridge (linking School road) was too steep for me to ride up. The ride down was more subtle and totally safe.

WHAT AN AMAZING EVENT!!! Loved it I expected bottlenecks and was astounded at how few there actually were (granted I was off in the D batch). As for the water bottle issue - I planned in advance and rode with a camelback so that I would not have to contend with crap on the water bottle nozzle. My only gripe was the route markings at the start. The front group of D flew out the blocks and we all went up left and along the fence line. I remember thinking that it was a bit dumb to have such a technical piece early on in the ride as it would cause a huge bottleneck only to discover at the bottom that it was not part of the ride and we all went from being in the front of the bunch to the back. Hey, **** happens - was not the end of the world. Lesson for next year - take my own light for the tunnels. I will DEFINITELY be back. Well done to Hollard and the organisers and thanks for the bell. Love it
  5. Thanks for setting the facts straight. Strengths to the rider and her family.

  7. I am using Fittrack for 94.7 - I feel that it concentrates too much on quantity over quality however it is still getting me onto the bike regularly so can't be all bad
  8. You are likely to get lynched here for making a statement like that. I will start - I HATE YOU!!! Rest of us have to graft like mad to lose weight and get the metabolism to work
  9. Dis-Chem have pushed hard on the "CHOOSE SAFE SUPPLEMENTS. CHOOSE DISCHEM" yet this product is available at Dis Chem http://dischemonline.co.za/product-view/27308/evox_3_dt2_165g_blue_blaze The Evox website does NOT list Methylhexaneamine as being an ingredient http://www.evox.co.za/product-item.aspx?prid=81

  15. Trail turn to not work!!!
  16. Agreed. Be patient and be prepared to jump at the last minute. This year (2014) I saw at least 4 or 5 entries that were on sale in the week before Sani. I even heard of an Adventure entry that went on sale on Monday 12 May (to start on Wednesday 14 May). If you don't get in now, train as though you are in, book your leave and wait
  17. OOOOH!!! Bring the popcorn - here comes trouble
  18. Got to suck for Froome - train for an entire year for 1 race, focus everything on it and then have to abandon after just 4 days
  19. Would that translate into English as: What is the minimum amount of laxative required to make a non professional **** themselves?
