  1. no i dont have TV, what happened? i am sure it was unintentional, those sprints are crazy. Did anyone remember a few years back when Tom Steels threw a bottle at another sprinter during a sprint finish - caught on TV.

    Ryan Cox

yeah, maybe after his recovery his fitness will be reduced to my level and that way i can drop him .............................. or maybe not
  3. who's this guy again? old news
  4. I was totally blown away - it was just awesome. We deffinately cannot complain about the Tour thus far.....its great !!!!!! well there goes any chance of you working on my team
  5. Todays winner: Tom Boonen!!!!!!!! (or else i am gonna cancel his 13th cheque this year) I manage with an iron fist. in fact, as punishment i am instructing the team car to hang back off the back of the peleton by 2km, forcing my riders to chase their butts off when they want water and food. Also my food is old food from last years tour. he he he (evil smirk)
  6. he he , yes i remember firing these mechanics..... so the drugs are theres, moving swiftly along
  7. I thought his ride was average - not so great - one of my riders could have and should have done better. On the whole, i give it a mediocre 5 out of 10 moving along
  8. dammit, why did i not give this guy a contract on my team, where were my sprinters, i have been on the phone to my team and i gave them hell for not marking this guy. Boonen just got a pay cut from me. oops, looks like the police are here at my team hotel, it might have something to do with the 16 black bags of EPO and growth hormone, i think theres another scandal brewing, but hang on, i bought them for the mechanics...

    TDF stage 3

    TDF stage 3

Yes, but as we speak it is Floyd Landis who has jumped on to the back of the peleton (PPA funride style) with an easy entry ticket and no helmet. This could be the writing on the wall but it seems like the bunch is going over the white middle lane and the marshals are screaming numbers over the radio of riders who have been disqualified beacuse of this infringment. It seems that the bunch is now merging with the short route riders and this can cause a little confusion amongst thos still in the race. just a little south african flavour for this
  12. But i would still like to see these podium girls once i get a TV
  13. yip i am in love cupid hit the bulls eye with his / her arrow. The romantic night actually went okay, but not sure if we will work out cos i am moving away and i am not sure that she will follow in due time. I have stated that i will come to here if need be so we shall have to see. hold thumbs Thanks chaps
  14. I must admit once you fall in love, you never look at another girl, all you see is the woman you love.... aaaaah sigh
  15. Yeah i am big boonen fan, i dig the dude, happy smile, loves to race his bike and does well! Great for the team!

    TDF update

whats the wind like - north of france can be windy can't it?
  19. shew wot a pity, especially for wesley cole, he had such promise...... i can't believe it Thanks for the info poison. Why would wesley quit????? he was super strong, now the two stalwarts from CVT have both quit, Chris Esch and Wesley Cole. Mark Wilcox does not race anymore either so the top guns from the old CVT are no more..... it's a pity
  20. BTW, does anyone know wot has happened to Rudolph Wentzel, i recall him riding for Vlanderen in Belgium during 2003 and then nothing...... Also any info on Wesley Cole?????
  21. Yes, maybe so, but David for another team, i think he had the natural ability to make top 10 in the tour if his career was groomed like some of the other tour contenders. I used to race against David as an under 17 / junior rider and let me tell you that he had awesome talent. He was head and shoulders above any junior racing in SA period! We could not even touch the guy, he rode us into the ground every race. The only guy that could hang onto the guy was Rudolph Wentzel and on the odd occcassion Clive Seebrechts (spelling) who had the uncanny ability of winning the sprints. I dont know about all the dope allegations duriong his pro career, and i am not getting into that debate, but he had ability and i think that with that ability he would have been SA's most successfull stage racer. Top 10 in the tour de france on the right team for sure!!!!!!!! I have no doubt!
  22. Slightly off topic but a few guys i would have loved to have seen in the tour from SA are: David George - imagine what he could have achived if they mentored him and rode for him and groomed him - top 10 ( i think so) with a TT win Rudolph Wentzel - in the high mountains - right up there.
  23. I think they reckon this guy could cause an upset in the prologue, thats maybe why they included him. I dont think Thomas will be completing the tour either. So i reckon Augustyn is not in then, sorry i am out of the loop. pity
