  1. ...I'm glad you are joking hehe!...or are you :-/ ?
  2. For R1500 you can get your hands on a pair of Giro Privateer that ticks ALL the boxes, and excellent oversees reviews to match. Comfort, unbelievable durability, very light (I think they're 25grms heavier than the Sworks Carbon) and a super stiff plastic sole that rivals many carbon soles. To give you an idea, I changed from a pair Sworks carbon soles to these about three months ago, and can honestly say I have not felt ANY lack in power transfer from the Giro's
  3. Coz (for my income category) it doesn't have to be an unattainable fantasy, but a reality with satisfaction to match ;-)
  4. Giant...is Fantastic.
  5. Agree, I fly downhills so fast, I don't have time to think about VPP, Compression damping and why my mother-in-law don't like me, so Anthem + R30k saving is good for me
  6. Excuse MH, (it short for Moerse Honest Btw) Imho, I'd say a Giant Anthem advance will give you as much pleasure for just over half the price.
  7. CWC if you want a shopping experience, cyclelab if you wanto pay more than you should, Evobikes if you want specifics.

  20. Haha!
  21. If it was an adult Cape Cobra, it, fortunately for him, gave a dry bite, adults can control their release of venom, where juvenile Cobra inject whatever they have stored
  22. Check out the Tygerberg Mountain bike clubs website, there's a snake guru's take on snakes on our trails and what to do, also an emergency number to contact should you get wacked. And yes, four Cape Cobra encounters for me over December, two right under my left leg on single track and my wife got a buckled head ready to strike cobra encounter at the Koeberg Nature reserve
  23. +1 Its like a puppy, all cute and cudly in the beginning and after two months its on Gumtree...(Analogy only, I don't own pets haha)
  24. Here's that comprehensive review I read: http://biketestreviews.com/taya-deca-101-10-speed-chain-for-shimano-drivetrain/
