  7. Bought my Merida 906 (2011 model) last month from Cycle Zone in Rustenburg R 22 000 Full Ultegra,he was way cheaper then most in Pta and Joburg

I have concockted your pearls of wisdom of two latest strings ,and used the following " 1 Part banana ,not more then one cuase banana can kill you!! 2 Parts peanutbutter, not more then three cause that can also kill you , 3Parts 32Gi sorry about that the 32 stuff is really not worth it ,i mixed the lot together and found it disturbing that i could nt get past a stationary truck yesterday .......... my speedo said i was doing 69Km/h .....and my garage door was open ......do you guys also have gas from trying this ?

Did 32Gi and Peptone pro two weeks apart during training and two different races ......................and yes for 32Gi you would have to change your complete diet ,32Gi did NOTHING for me bru . not even for carboloading............. This wount come back and bite me .................... rookie at 39 started racing this year at Carousel Classic (with 10 year old Giant) then Lost city (with 10 year old Giant) then Dome2Dome (with 10 year old Giant) no punctures which included 4days a week on the road training ..................then I got my new Merdida 906 last week and did the Harties Sasko road race ,.........................1st blow out at PecanWood (hit a Reflector) then 2nd puncture hit a rock whilst pointing out to the rest of the group that there was gravel on the road not 10 k's further ..............so my jinx is over and done finish and klaar !   23. Good one this ,I never took the time to ask what my max is .... that will give me a max of 185 bpm ..i get to 220 on climbs longer then 500 metres . And on all my road training sessions i try to stay between 170 and 175 bpm. CharlV

Been on IDT every third day for two weeks now ,and did a 84 km solo ride out to Mooinooi out on the N4 from Rustenburg yesterday, i did power training most of the way , staying in a low gear as far as possible!!! Burns the crap out of the upper thighs, but I did this trip in almost the same time as I did the 70 km Carousel earlier this season,the Mental Discipline part i especially agree with!!!! Charl V

Use PeptoPro mixed with Powerade (have to, cause it tastes like crushed Panado) however at the end of a 100Km race when i start to use energy bars i seem to hit he wall im a major way ,still trying to find a way to prevent this !! agree with the "Make is simple - perhaps only have 3 offerings - traninig, racing and recovery.
