my pitch on this topic. Firstly congrats to Hudson12 for still being active and attempting events. Everyone enters a race and agrees to participate according to the rules of the event. It is the participants responsibility to ensure that they are able to complete the race within the official cut-off time to be recognised as a finisher and to have a time recorded. Where factors affect the majority of the participants, the organisers are within their right to make adjustments. Here are a couple of what if's What if you did not help those ladies, would you have finished within the cut-off? Would you still have enjoyed the race? What if you didn't stop so long at the water points?

Both road and MTB have RHS front and LHS rear. Just got a Tri bike, which is opposite and still deciding whether to change it the same as the others.

haven't ridden there yet, but read some of the write-ups and it seemed pretty good. Did see that they should be open again from the 3 November.

Yip agree with the take-out story, my kids know what McDonalds and KFC is, but only from driving past there. Seen the effects of doing weights too early too, had teacher who was shorter than he should have been.

I've been using the 310XT for the last year and half. Rechargeable battery life is pretty good ( max hr rating of 20hrs). You can configure 4 items per display and have at least 4 different displays. I have used it for both Comrades and Argus events.

As posted earlier: WADA/UCI view is that the athlete is ultimately responsible for what they eat/drink. So regardless of how it got into his system, because it is not naturally occurring, any trace of it is unacceptable.

As I understand it, if he is declared guilty of drug/blood doping has a minimum 2 year suspension. If they declare that he is not guilty, he can request for a reduction of the suspension, which at the most would be 1 year. This is what has occurred with previous athletes that tested positive due to external sources. WADA/UCI view is that the athlete is ultimately responsible for what they eat/drink.

Even if he does get away with the 'tainted food' excuse, the minimum suspension will be 1 year from the date of the original suspension date and that was 6 weeks after the TDF.
