Weight 1416g v 1785g (claimed - 369 difference) Internal Rim Width 19mm v 21mm I've looked at both and not sure which is better? I'm 100kg and ride XC, nothing serious. Light weight or "bomb" proof? Any opinions or reviews?

Thanks guys for the help. Sure, it not the model just wondering if it's default chain lenght? Fairly new group set with a new chain so will check the teeth for mis-alignment. Also was lubed before my last ride. If you are running a dual sus is your chain length the same as the shimano instruction. (largest sprocket + largest chainring + 2 links) Yes 10spd xt. Can anyone explain the mechanics of a breaking / broken chain? Thanks again for all the input.

Have been having problems with chains. Broken two different Shimano chains, neither at the connecting link/pin. Has anyone with an Anthem X29 had any chain problems? Would anyone who hows the default chain length for there Anthem please share? Thanks

Just broke my second chain on my 3x10 XT group set. Both chains broke while pedaling uphill so i assume its to do with bad shifting. I weigh 100kg but I have not had a chain break on my road bike so i assume it's not my weight. What is best practice from changing gear and gear choice?

The biggest chain ring that Shimano have is a 56 so, Sheldon Brown's site says a 56-11 will have you riding 64km/h at cadence of 100. You would need a 90-11 to make it to 100km/h! How large would a 90 tooth chain ring be?

What gear ratio would you need to achieve that speed?

Ok, so "acceptable" was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but seriously what is the difference between riser bars and flat bars with a high sweep? You can change the hight with the stem and spaces, why do you need a third variable?

Is it "acceptable" to have bar ends on flat handle bars with high degree of sweep? Are there any benefits of getting risers bars for the sweep if you can buy flat bars with the same sweep?

I'm helping my Dad out with adding a second bike to his Edge 500. Not sure if i'm missing something but unable to find where to add the second bike? Please help.

I bought an Anthem so did a bit of research on this. By no means am i the authority on this or sure i'm 100% correct (have not links to Dragon Sports) but as far as i know, one of the first batches of bikes that where made/sold (if you read the US recall it's only 370 frames) to customers in the States and Auz(could be else where too?) before they corrected the problem. Seemed to affect frames sizes S to L but not XL. Why initially we could only get our hands on only XL and had to wait for other sizes.

What might be easier is to use a 1"1/8 stem with a shim. I've used it on a road bike of mine and it works fine.

Unless it's 1" from the ground! Are they def not made anymore, think you can still pick-up 1" road bike forks, can't you?

I'm thinking of converting an old steel MTB with the addition of a cheapish suspension fork. Think i'm looking for a 1", preferably threadless setup. Has anyone have any recommendations?
