Yes, I know but it was a bit far to go to Westdene and Cajees matched their price, they are 5 minutes away. I didn't know the crank would be an issue.

Bought a bike from Cajees and on the phone I say I want minimum SLX and they tell me it is SLX/XT. I get it home and see it has a Deore crank. I call them this morning and remind them that as per them it should have had an SLX crank so can I upgrade/exchange and pay in the difference. The guy tells me I must pay in R2000.00. He is mad, you can pick up a brand new crank at my LBS for R1400.00 with no trade in. The price difference between the Deore and SLX is only R400.00, you would think they would try and help the customer out to keep them happy instead of having them post negative comments on the hub. Instead they are trying to rip me off for something they said would be on the bike

The salesman told me I must buy a 29er because they can levitate and propel themselves. Is this true? He also talked me into a Powerbalance band, he said you only get the benefit out of a 29er if you have a Powerbalance band on

It is a Scale. Price was R12870.00 at Westdene so Cajees did it for R12800.00 to get the sale 11.8kg on a 29er with pedals doesn't sound too bad to me for the price

Anyone have a 3x10 SLX or XT crank/chainset for me?

Just picked this up, 2012 Scott 29 Elite Will let you guys know how she rides, I just want to get the shop to upgrade the crank to SLX. They sold it to me as having SLX/XT groupset but the crank is Deore (cheap skates at Scott)

I got to the D2D race early on Sunday so I could start near the front of my group, there were a whole load of people from my start group that went into the pen in front of us, then when they told us to move forward to the start there were suddenly plenty riders in front of me

I am very happy with this new type strap, it is better than my last HRM which was a Polar Here is more info from the exercise, you can see the points I waited for the slower guy to catch up, especially in the power graph and cadence

Tested the new strap again in D2D today. All looks good

Where do you see the problem? My readings used to peak at 265 and now it peaks at 161

Lift up the front of the bike and turn the steering from side to side. Does it have a notch in the straight ahead position or can you feel many notches from side to side? Does the wheel "fall" left and right under its own weight?

Be careful, read your policy/exclusions properly. My previous insurance would only cover my bike if it was either in a locked garage or locked to an immovable object
