  1. Dear LeTurdo, I do not appreciate you addressing me in this manner, I would prefer to be addressed as Mr Amoeba. And no, a Zaskar is not A bike, it is THE bike. I do not think that I can throw around derogatory comments about a "perfectly acceptable training method" (remember this part, because I'm getting back to it later)but I know that I can throw around derogatory comments to fellow hubbers, as you yourself has just now proven. You are right on one front however, the people in Pretoria or not that smart, if you would be so kind as to water us that would be lovely. The trails are getting really dusty up here. If I understand your reasoning correctly you are saying that I am insulting a "perfectly acceptable training method". Which method is that? I'm sure 32GI is not a method but a product, read the other 500 (which my original point was about) threads and just make sure for me please. Later on in your post you are using this "perfectly acceptable training method" as an insult to our training, THAT I do not understand. If you feel that I, or any of the other people you mentioned, are wasting your time, do not read the thread. You are wasting your own time in replying to the thread. So feel free to not reply again, I would however encourage you to please do so as comments such as yours are exactly why this thread was started. Thank you for your participation. PS. If you can't bear fools, but our mothers could, what can you bear?
  2. Go check out that restaurant at the end of the Otter where they throw all the broken shoes in the tree. There's an article in there about the Otter Trail run, and about that guy that did it in under 5 hours. Actually, just google the otter trail run. But I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much, it's very beautiful. We've already booked for 2015, the group I did it with does it every 5 years but this was my first time. I'm definately going again!
  3. Crack! I need your obnoxious opinion over on the 32 Gee, I don't know thread
  4. Why do the Otter Trail instead of the Beaver Trail?
  5. Actually I can't cause I am still not absolutely sure how 32GI is supposed to be taken. I mean, I know like 5000 people said it has to be used with a low GU diet but what if I want to eat something with a high GU? Can you please help me because I am so utterly dumbstruck and confused about this that I am actually considering not using it at all and rather using bad pie.
  6. Very nice, apparently you can run the Otter as well, one guy did it in just under 5 hours. That takes some doing.
  7. Yes, you are, you are constantly offending me, now direct it somewhere else!
  8. It's all the same to me, just as long as we keep it on topic!
  9. I did the Otter in March, was quite fun
  10. +1
  11. 2 Pages!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooooohooooooooo!!!! Keep going people!!!!!!!! Using excessive punctuation, hoping for monsterous retort!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Also, For a extra bit of oomph, you have to cycle smack dab in the middle of the road with one of your friends/cycling buddies/fellow club members on each side of you, that way, you get the perfect power balance ratio.
  13. Nope, not yet, we need to get to 500 pages. . . start being obnoxious people. This is the strategy: 1. Make obnoxious comment 2. Offend someone personally 3. Keep offending people 4. Keep defending your comment when someone takes offence. I'll start: 32GI works best when combined with 4 cigarettes, Squirt chain lube, white cycling pant(s) and you are not allowed to use it with tubeless tires. Tubeless tires contains to much GU.
  14. You are absolutely right, I withdraw my obnoxious comment and invite all those with other obnoxious comments to tread on over to the "32 Gee, I don't know" thread and share your obnoxious comments there.
  15. Yes it did, and then the distributor would break and the brakes would fail but before all that. . . it was the coolest car on the road for 30min. Then its back to the workshop for 3 months while I save money buying parts and then, for another 30 min. . . it would be the coolest car on the road. Maybe I should have given it 32GI for more staying power.
  16. The Destroyer is lifeless on its own - although it can act independently for short periods [9] - until animated by the life-force of a sapient living being. Even when so animated, the Destroyer retains a rudimentary base personality that will eventually subvert the host unless a strong-willed individual is in control, such as Thor or Loki.[9][2] Odin is also able to cast a spell that can force the animating persona from the armor and deactivate it.[2] Once animated, the Destroyer possesses the strength to exceed beings such as Thor and is almost totally invulnerable, withstanding even a million tons being thrown onto it and not even falling over. The armor also has the ability to project blasts of energy/heat/concussive force, emit a disintegration beam activated via its visor, manipulate electro-magnetism and molecules allowing him to turn solid stone to lava and achieve flight. (wikipedia) Sounds kinda like TERMINATOR. . .
  17. ja, page him and btw you absolutely ruined my memory of my first car saying that it wasn't a cooper. . . but I digress, get back to the obnoxious opinions!
  18. THATS what we need, some obnoxious opinions!
  19. In the spirit of the hub I must comment. . . Conan was a barbarian, I think the Destroyer was someone else. It's absolutely crucial that we get these little details right, else nobody will respect us.
  20. I'm commenting on a phenomenon, I call it the "32 Gee, I dont know" phenomenon. Why does everybody have to start their own thread on this and clog up the "latest forum posts" block thing? As you said, the marketing guy gave real feedback unlike some others I have seen. But why not just ask all the questions in the same thread? It's not really a Hi-Jack is it? And clearly the marketing guy, kudos to him, goes through all the threads and responds. It will save him time, and give others looking for answers ONE place to look instead of 500 gazillion different threads. But please, keep on commenting as we are still a long way from being the coolest 32GI thread.
  21. The next thing I'm eyeing in my old man's toolshed is the Gedore sockets It makes me kinda sad knowing that all the tools I've bought and saved for and appreciate my kids are just gonna take one day. But I guess thats life!
  22. I think he must have realised something is up when I showed up at his house to borrow A spanner and left with the whole set The only reason I bought another Gedore is to keep the "set" intact. He's quite proud of it, always reminding me that he bought them over a period of 20 years or something as and when he needed a certain size.
