    I suspect I also rode with you at some point. I was the dude in the pink Vye top. Turns out setting 20min, 60min, and 90min power PBs in the first half of a 100miler is not conducive to a fun 2nd half.... Finished in 6:33 with some fun cramps.

    The course got better as the race went on. The 23k section after the tar was hell though. the beer was free, whether it was Belgian depends on your views on Stella šŸ˜‚

    Yeah, going pack, more to avoid dealing with mud-nozzles than anything else šŸ™ˆ Also changed my kit plan based on freezing this morning, and my Garmin tells me it was only 9C here, nevermind the 5C we'll probably get tomorrow...

    @guidodg any chance of some gpx or route pics? Race is 2 weeks before Ceder, so a tossup between a last long ride (130k) or a sharpener (80k)

    Gloves are very underrated, and very easy to stow in a pocket when you do take them off. my goto at the moment is a long sleeve running top and gloves. As I warm up the sleeves get shunted up the arms above the elbows, and then finally the gloves come off. Works well.

    Yeah, if I had to guess, you'll go around the dam there, but that'll be well marked

    A potential warning, don't follow this blindly. There's a weird out and back as you get onto the road after McGregor (probably a routing artifact?). You really don't want to turn left, only to be told to u-turn 50m later (especially if you're off the front of your group like @Jbr might well be)
