  3. Ditto for when I attach them to our planes, finger tight doesn't cut it with vibration, even used blue thread lock in the past but that was overkill for normal applications.
  4. Yes, possibly they can trace it by serial number but they are really good guys so they may not even ask, they pride themselves on a quality product and customer satisfaction is priority. Had a few dealings with them, including one that broke off a paraglider and they sorted it out, will send their details in the morning.
  5. Take it in to action cameras in Randburg, they will most likely change it out under warranty.
  6. Photoshop!
  7. 29er version of the Parktool pizza cutter???
  8. Ahhh, now you see there is some logic and not only good marketing, :-) I never took into account that the change in "parallelogram" geometry may affect the way the RD actually moves across the gears.
  9. And in reverse, what stops a 9spd RD being adjusted (H screw) to allow it to travel further to the 10th ring
  10. Mind my ignorance... Hear me out for a second, a derailleur works on a spring mechanism and only moves the distance governed by the click / pull in the shifter, thus a 10spd derailleur would only move as far as the 9spd shifter moves it (presumably the correct distance for the cassette). The only thing I could see would be the width of the cages not allowing the 9spd chain to feed smoothly through the "jockey wheels" but this is mm and I doubt the "jockey wheels" in a 10spd RD are any different to the 9spd ones. As long as the H limit is set not to allow it to go past the 9th ring (shifter wouldn't allow it anyway but still) then why wouldn't it work? Edit: corrected terminology
  11. And check the classifieds a month later, same board and kite for 75% less than the new price
  12. Not a doff comment at all, :-) If you have spent your hard earned cash on 2bliss tyres (generally more expensive than the same brand / model non-2bliss) then you are 80% of the way there already and it would be a waste running tjoobs. For rims, they will have a label somewhere that will indicate their suitability for 2bliss, Mavic coined the "UST" phrase and everyone that uses this pays royalties to Mavic, thus the trend from most other manufactures is to label them with names like "LUST" / "TLR" (Tubeliss ready) / "Protection" / "Snakeskin" etc. If your Rims are UST or Tubeless ready all you would need is 2 valves and a bottle of sealant. If not you need 2 x 20" BMX tires (which naturally include valves), slice them down the middle to open them up, fit them over the rims, fit tire, add 60-70ml sealant and inflate to 3.5 - 4bar to seat the beads. Once inflated you can reduce the pressure to 1.8 (depending on your weight) and slice off the excess "tube" from the edges.
  13. Probably not good enough to deserve 2 separate freds....
  14. tapatalk bro

  17. So true, perhaps a root b if the rains come, something like different colored markers.
  18. Bummed that I missed this one, next fast one I'm all in
  19. I read up on the Garmin site that they do a compensation based on the map details (Topography) etc when the data is uploaded in order to try increase the accuracy of the elevation data, by default a GPS is only accurate to between 8-15m vertically (without a barometric pressure sensor - these can be accurate to about 8-10cm) - thus I can only assume the Bryton site does something similar. Update: It appears that the 35 does have a barometric pressure sensor, thus it could be as Daxiet mentions above, Temperature and humidity related plus some additional calculations that the site does
  20. I use anything from the built in mic on my laptop, iPhone headset (using the earbud as the mic) or my USB headset. The trick is to check under the recoding properties of your soundcard and ensure the mic is active (only 1) and that its levels are correctly adjusted, then it woks 100% every time
  21. Any of the Blackburn Flea range, they do some really nice lights at reasonable prices. There was also a hubber that had some nice rear lights with the side laser option at a good price Edit: found it: https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/50544-rechargeable-5-led-laser-bicycle-tail-light/
  22. Lookup Johan Bornman from Yellow Saddle, sure he can help
  23. What no Titan... :-) Seriously though no Ritchey....#SMH
