  1. You can then get one of these down the inside of the post and carefully cut through the post from the inside and "pry" it out.
  2. No Bru, stick to your IxI.
  3. Interesting observation, and whilst on this point... I will NEVER ever use another Mozi mat / liquid machine (you know, those plug in types) ever again! I delayed it in summer and all was going well until one day I found one in the bottom of the kitchen cupboard and though that I may as well plug it in.... 2 nights and both myself and my wife had a sore throat which quickly escalated into blocked noses etc, turned it off and dumped it in the bin.
  4. Ahh, more to the story, :-) - 100% agree rather let them check it out an find the cause, although sometime I wonder if they ever do seeing as most of them keep practicing on us...
  5. just re-read ^^^^ and realized that point 1 and point 2 seem unrelated. What I was getting at was at no time in the last 10 years of multiple chest infections have any of the docs eluded to it being connected to a possible heart condition.
  6. Medically I would take care questioning the V12Man, ;-) I got lucky, had a "heart attack" (Combination Pericarditis and Myocarditis) @ age 19 and although left with scarring on both the heart and pericardium after 5 years of checkups I was finally let off the hook. However, as a chronic bronchitis (read: chest infection) sufferer my downfall has been Mr Marlboro (flame suit status: ON - its in my 6 month goals list), the only thing that has helped so far this year has been the Beriglobin shot, it was the first time in as long as I remember that my "head cold" did not turn into 10 days penicillin. Edit: Wasn't finished
  7. Assume your "project" is to prep these as slicks for the 94.7 or Argus?
  8. Hub Rule #34: The final photo of any build and / or complete purchases will be framed upon a couch.
  9. Slow day on the hub?
  10. Red bottle cages may fit nicely too
  11. repost but still awesome: http://www.bikerumor.com/2013/05/29/found-outrageous-64g-dura-ace-derailleur/
  12. *subscribed* Saw a glimpse of this yesterday, it's going to be a sick looking bike!!
  13. Beat me too it, seriously, does no-one use the search box anymore....
  14. Dam that sux, after you guys had such a good 2013, :-(
  15. I went the Hubdoctor route and did the Pro freehub conversion (think that's what it was called), cost around R480 earlier this year and was a simple fit. No more play in the hub and it runs smooth, reckon I added another few years to my older series CrossMax'es. That said, I need to strip out the front bearings this week and replace them, will take some pics along the way and document it like this fred as well
  16. Lay a case of assault and have them put the owner down, then tell the SPCA that the dog was abandoned and let them find it a loving home!
  17. RD looks like its going to be a Shadow +, that would be really cool. Helps to read the article first.... "Shadow + rear derailleur option and ICE technology for the disc brakes" Awesome!
  18. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/48089-wtb-sx24-wheelset-brand-new
  19. Tried that too, maybe not tight enough or enough "rag" to get all around them - it is nice having a rag to wipe your fingers etc after fixing a broken chain
  20. 90g = "almost nothing" I'm sure there are a few weight weenies that would argue.
  21. Ok, now I like this... <30km I normally use a 750ml bottle and leave the camelpack at home, this then limits the spares I keep in the second bottle (bad idea as it rattles like mad).
  22. Finally some motivation to use some of the exotic wood I inherited, :-). I don't see R1600 worth of labor and materials though.
  23. There is a nice white one hanging around our hood lately, seen him once at Dischem and a few times up by spur, that sound is seriously awesome
  24. Well done Polar! I need to take mine in next week, my HRM straps stops after 45mins / 60mins into a ride, cant figure it out, new batteries and wet strap and it still does it. Will test their service for the first time .
