I depends what you want out of it, premium features for budget price. Go for the Magene/Geoid. Same computers just different branded, does everything a Garmin does at a fraction. So. . . . If you are looking at a very budget Smart watch...I am trying out the CMF Watch Pro 2 by Nothing. Pleasantly surprised that it works in all aspects. I use this.. Joe Friel’s cycling heart rate method bases training zones on Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR) rather than max heart rate. Determine LTHR via a 30-minute solo time trial, taking the average HR for the final 20 minutes. Zones are then calculated as percentages of this LTHR.
