  1. Whats up with the hub this week? When I try and post it takes for ever for the page to refresh and when I change pages I always get a "cannot find page" error message and then have to keep refreshing. This does not happen on other sites, so I think it's a problem with the Hub server.
  2. Go to the yellow saddle website and have a look at the tools you need
  3. But where do you stop? Shave arms -> hairy chest looks silly Shave chest -> hairy stomach looks silly Shave stomach -> only hair left is in a place too sensitive to allow a blade or hot wax near So' date=' shave your arms and you will have to shave your balls. [/quote'] With the only hair left on your body being on/in your feet, toes, nostrils, ears, face & head? ...en holhare
  4. It sometimes feels good to to leave the the middle ages in the past
  5. Yoh dude. Relax in your slacks. It was a joke...didn't you see the winky emoticon? I was not challenging any of your statements you have made or how you came to your conclusions or your emotion state when posting your facts. At the end of the day I just want know what the most practical and economical route would be and what the pros and cons would be for either method.
  6. JB I read all your comments on acetone and carbon in your previous threads. I just wanted to check if the opinions have changed By the way, I do like and understand a technical debate. I just don't get involved if i know nothing about the topic.
  7. I'm going into the final phase of having my wheels pimped. I was chatting to a friend and he mentioned spraying the "decals" on with an airbrush instead of using vinyl lettering. The only hassle is that if the artist/spraypainter f*cksup then I'm going to be in the sh!t as it wont be easy to redo. Paint would be more hard-wearing as it won't come off as easy as vinyl when cleaning/riding through water/sunlight etc. My wheels are carbon. Will paint solvent affect the carbon in any way? Does anyone have a (constructive) opinion on this?Speed Devil2008-10-22 05:05:07
  8. Take the skipping rope away and it should behave itself

  11. Chaser. Im glad things worked out for you at the end of the day. It just goes to show that there are still a few good people out there who are willing to go the extra mile. Well done on CS!!!
  12. 105 is good value for money and the quality is a lot better than what you have now.
  13. My b*tch and moan all along. Rather give allowances to people who use their bicycles to get to work and work towards a better environment.
  14. Besides the cotterpins which were inevitably stripped while tightening, the BB was a nightmare to keep clean and free from water/dust/sand etc. I often ground bearings to a pulp in my BB/cotter crank setup. I think sealed BB was as much of a welcome revolution as the cotterless crank.
  15. I wax....Only have to do it every 4 weeks. And someone else does it for me, that way i don't have to get myself into all sorts of positions to make sure that I shaved the back properly.
  16. This is exactly why I want cash upfront and then post the stuff!!
  17. My wife digs it when I'm all smooth My reason is for hygiene purposes. If I land up on the tar then it's easier to clean the wound and if bandages are needed then it's not so sore when removing them.
  18. I don't need to skip...I jump enough to my wife's commands
  19. Turtlek I'm glad you are ok and things didn't get worse than they did. It reminds me of when I still worked in Moz. I was staying in a wendyhouse in a camping site that was erected for tourists and campers. One night I work up and heard a tearing noise. When I went to investigate one of the locals was tearing the mosquito net on the window in the bathroom and was trying to get in. Luckily my shouting and swearing scared him off, but I was not able to go back to sleep for fear of them returning. All I could do was sit around the corner armed with a tin of doom and a lighter and hope the f*cker didn't come back...but yes, it is a heart-stopping experience to be confronted in the middle of the night by an intruder, because you never know how dangerous they are.
  20. nope i crashed in the cape earlier in the year it was not half as sore as this is now i promise you that in CT i hit the road at 60 Could you re-run the test at 70. We need more data in order to be able to do interpolation. Did you slide or roll across the tar?
  21. TurtleK, I hope the damage isn't too bad. I'm sure you are going to be sleeping on top over the duvet tonight
