    we've had our first crash of the day Tobias Ludvigsson has crashed. Wet descent and he's gone over the barriers. He was pushing it and was well placed but that's really sad to see. We'll bring you more once we know the situation.

    Team Sky's Cataldo, an outsider for today, is about to start his effort. The roads aren't going to dry out for a long while, it's still raining, so Flens' time could stand for a long while yet. from cyclenews clearly the commentators aren't watching the guys finish as there are already two people faster than flens when they posted this

    maybe igor will finish with a good time and all other riders won't beat him... have to hope for something positive for my team

    he's not asking for an official result if I understand it correctly. He doesn't want a certificate or a placing etc. He simply would like to know his time. Giving out the time is not breaking the rules surely.

    I seriously hope my team can get some points today, but I doubt it, looks too flat. my team are slowly heading to the bottom of the log

    i remember doing the 100km team timetrial back in the mid 90's in that area. Was great fun, even though we lost 1 rider in the 1st 25km.
