Swiss, Have a look at the following pages http://www.polar.com/en/support/the_what_and_how_of_recovery_status http://www.polar.com/en/support/the_what_and_how_of_training_load http://www.polar.com/za/support/training_load_and_recovery_status_features_in_polar_flow

I had some problems syncing again this week. I firstly synced via the Iphone app. It then appears as if all the data were transferred as everything showed up on the App. However in Flow only distance and time appeared. I then synced with the cable but with no luck. So to fix I had to go in flow and re-save my Setting. Then synced again via the app and BOOM. Everything was there. The sync took a bit of time, but it worked.

Swizzy, Not sure, I know when you select the favorite and you "click and hold" the light button you can set training sounds and vibration feed back on and off. I haven't used them so if you have tested it. You can let me know.

Swissy, Yes I have done it before. In Dairy you add the Training target. Then you save Then you click the (STAR) to add the target to your favorites. Once it is in your favorites. Then sync your watch to get it onto the unit. On the watch you go to favourites and select the Training target you wish to do.

I see there is a work around in android to import a gpx route to flow. http://forum.polar.fi/showthread.php?t=29589 Quote from polar start Originally Posted by wildsau2710 http://forum.polar.fi/images/polartheme/buttons/viewpost.gif I gave it a try: - Install SyncMyTracks on your Android-Device - Copy a GPX-Track from anywhere onto your Android-Device (Folder /[storage]/SyncMyTracks). - Start SyncMyTrack - Choose Export / Import - Select Export from: "Files Directory" & "Import to: Polar Flow". - Start the sync. - Now the session is in Polar Flow (on the date where the original session was). - Now you can mark it as "Favorite" and delete the session. - The favorite is still available and you do not have the false session. Remark: - I tried it only once and with a GPX Export manually from STRAVA, but it works quite charming. So on the first glance works quite good. However it would be quite comfortable if Polar would enable this natively in Flow. Quote from polar end

Swiss and Izak, Do you use the only the watch with GPS tracking or do you have a speed sensor or running footpod? I'm looking at maybe getting them but I do not want them if they are going to reduce the battery life.

Just open the file with notepad and change the ID. Save and close. But yes, it is a pain i know. the ID actually stamps the time away when you sync your watch to flow. So all excersizes being synced for the first time carries the same ID.

Cause all the external sites uses gmt time and then convert it to your local time zone, so for example if i ride at 6am local time ... the external site where i imported the file displays my ride as 8am.

I hope they fix the export file to GMT time instead of your local time zone time.

Ai Swissy, All good things comes with time. You will just have to wait a little longer.

  21. Dit bly darem maar mooi. I think we would organize a get together of all the frames with bogus custom designs. Will make for some awesome bike porn and drooling
  22. I'm a average rider and I use a 32 x 18 here in Midrand but we do not have any mountains here.
  23. Can you see any reason why that happened, or was it just bad luck
  24. Still cannot believe I didn't fall when it happened.
  25. My bike was also supposed to go up this road. But somehow it got distracted on Oxford road at the Zone and decided it would rather take the road home via the M1 & N1.
