  1. How do you find the freedoms? I fitted them the other day and they feel very nice. But R2900 is more than what I want to spend on shoes.
  2. Thanks for all the shoe mileage posts. I have done about 400km on my Kinvara's now but have done quiet a bit of off road running with them and cannot see them lasting another 400km.
  3. Seeing the new shoes in the post above ... How often do all of you replace your shoes? How many km’s do you get out of them?
  4. Vetties my Babe, When it gets rough and tough... remember I am watching your dot and I don’t like to see your dot hanging around the same spot for too long. Good luck and enjoy.

  11. After my back injury I had to change to something with a bit of a cushion. Honestly I still prefer the vibrams, I like the feedback response from the ground and the shoes are "fast" and direct. Currently I using the saucony kinvara shoes.

  20. Thanks I saw the discussion regarding the 5 hour marathon. Thats why I asked.I also dont know at this stage how much my time will change when adding more distance and running on tar vs my current dirt road running that I do. I will have a look at the link
  21. Comrades has always been on my bucketlist. I have been running on and off the last year due to a back injury (bike crash). My question is how many months of constant running do you need before you can start a comrades program? What would my first time target be over a 5km to be able to finish comrades? Currently im folowing a 5 km program of 10 weeks.
