    Giant Anthem X2

Don't Know about the Fox but the Rock Shox SID team is very flexy. I sold mine for this very reason (2010 SID team) Flexes badly when out the saddle. I now ride a Manitou Minute RMD. Not as light but much more stable and rigid compared to the SID and my other REBA . I also think it performs better IMO. We are talking about a larger rider here. 92KG
  2. Again as per last year, each event decides whether they care about this CSA license or not! If I live in KZN to I pay CGC or what?
  3. Remember if you ship to a UK address from CRC you pay UK VAT. If you ship to ZAR you pay no UK VAT on the price. You might get away with the ZAR import dutues with the gift idea but also may become someone elses shorts.....
  4. Adventure and Race have the same type of waiting list and period. Waiting list for both!
  5. Username: Team - 2011 Team Name: Der Grosse Auspuffe Team Type: Men's Team Team Status: Accepted
  6. Good to hear the happy ending to this thread.
  7. Just wait till Kalchal gets bigger the problems she will come........
  8. Don't think you can sub the whole team, only 1 rider.
  9. Agree with having top10 or 20 in each category getting confirmed entries and the rest going to a lotto system where you can't ride for more than 2 consecutive events if chosen. This will give everone a fair chance.
  10. Did you get an email from Entelect confirming they have your registration and they give you your team number? I also got this when I emailed them but this is not a confirmation from the Sani race office but just that your registration on the site was accepted. Not that you have a confirmed entry. Anyone got from the Sani Race office?
  11. Anyone recieved the mail from the Admin office yet?
  12. Punch Cards.......................
  13. Whole site has ground to a Halt........
  14. I got pretty torn up on the lower legs and arms. Daniel, was your average speed including stops?
  15. Yes, once again an excellent event with great hospitality. Well done to the Kenyan machines. Weather was perfect! Thanks to all the organisers.
  16. Travel safe see you there............Der Grosse Auspuffe
  17. 24th and 25th I think. Weekend after this coming one. Dude you will be like LL cool J with that Russian pimp mobile in Gabs!
  18. Calm down race snakes..... The race is not bad it's fun and my seeding is only 53
  19. Hey billygoat, if you metion your brand they will stock it!
  20. Not that fit. Think day 1 was 5h something and day 2 was just on 4h. Day 1 is tougher that day 2.
  21. Yes 2 units between water tables is plenty. The water tables are well stocked with food, chocolate, USN, water, whisky etc.
  22. no, not that bad. Just tough on your butt and back after 80km odd in the saddle. This race is flat, no downhills so there is very few places to stand freewheel and stretch out on either days 100km stages.
  23. Then no need to worry. Race king will do just fine, a bit worn or brand new....
  24. There is sand but not as bad as you may have been led to believe. The rock beds got to me more! The Sand is similar to mud, momentum is your friend and no sand tyre is going to get you out of thick sand from a dead stand still. Actually the thinner the tyre the better. But it's all about the speed entering the sand section.
  25. The thorns will draw blood for sure, mark my words..... There is every thorn conceivable to man there....
