Can anyone tell me what a "CSA Sanctioned" event actually means? Why do some events not require a CSA license to enter? What happens if I take part in a none CSA sanctioned event while holding a CSA license?
My prediction on a pure downhill course would be the MTB. The dirt bike would be carrying too much momentum and weight into the turns and need excessive braking. But the minute there is a flat pedal section the bike will catch up. So would depend largely on the course layout. Would be good to watch.
I have tried.... My issue is not the R75 but the whole process and what I as an average joe MTB'r get from them (other than confusion). I met the brick wall. They might do stuff for Road Racing but that does nothing for me.
You do not need to pay R35 an event if you are a CSA Member. Being a CSA member is like having a 2010 Cyclosport license. R75 CSA membership will alow you to race everything exept Nationals and UCI events. No R35 required. The R35 day license is only if you are not a CSA member and want to enter a CSA sanctioned event.
But Please remember if you join Roag for the R50(proposed), they are not affiliated to CGC (Central Gauteng Cycling). You need to affiliate with them too for R75. CSA will only issue your license if you or your club is affiliated with CGC. THIS IS ONLY IF YOU RESIDE IN GAUTENG! If you reside elsewhere and join Roag for R50(proposed) You just have to join CSA as a member. This is why a lot of people did not get their licenses.
So are you saying you cant get the axle through the a hub that is made for skewers? 'ghetto' a large drill and............. No. need a new hub for the front for axle.
Mini Hijack. Anyone got odd CB Sl's laying around? And would like to play match maker? Willing to swop or sell Right /Left or whatever makes up a pair. I have ripped, torn, flattened, dented etc, so many SL pedals and now have odds all over the place. So much so that I train with those candy/smarty ones for added protection. Even if they are not working but the wings are in tact. Thanks B
