  1. Haha! I'm sure we did. Not really into dirt roadie type riding, but I must say I enjoyed "touring" through that area. Beautiful scenery around every corner.
  2. Over the holidays. Somewhere between Franskraal and Baardskeerdersbos.
  3. Goeie donder. Hoop jy kry 30 000km's uit hulle!

  10. My GF's new kittens finding a perfect spot to snooze between the curtains and the back of the couch.
  11. Was referring to bike length, bb height, head angles etc etc
  12. Haha! Trying to get an Intense/Cruz fan to buy an Ibis? Need to work a bit harder than that.... but not much....
  13. Probably more comparable to the Bronson than the Nomad?
  14. Mine's in a colour called Tungsten silver. It's almost like a lighter version of gun metal.
  15. Thx a stack boet. Luvved my old car, so the new one has big shoes to fill.
  16. So after 190 000km and 9 years of almost flawless service (...blown turbo at 100 000km....) it was finally time to retire my faithful Golf 5 GTi. Needless to say I'm replacing it with a Golf 7 GTi. Finally arrived at the dealership yesterday. Check the cool gholfball gear lever.
  17. I fell in the 10%... calling me a clown? ....don't tell anyone, but during the race I frequently wished I had bigger wheels....
  18. Had a Revelation on the Tracer, replaced it with a Float and changed to another Rev 6 months later. Now have a Reba on the Tallboy and also only have good things to say. And then the Monarch Plus is of course just mind blowingly good on the Tracer. And then the Reverbs on the Tracer and Tallboy is also outstanding.... I might like RS....
  19. I haven't had great experiences with the Talas forks over the years. Somehow they always felt a bit less smooth and more "notchy" than the Float versions. Anyone else had the same experience?
  20. The other JP is probably the mechanic at John O'Connor's shop?
  21. Haha! Just so gatvol of cANCer. So when I read this, I thought, these YT guys made an error an immediately they tried to rectify the problem. No excuses made. Now wouldn't it be great if zuma and his buddies could govern the country in the same way?
  22. Howzit Hairball. Unfortunately not boet. It was sold about a month ago. But check in with JP at Recycles. He's always got some good used stuff in the shop.
  23. Regardless I blame apartheid.
  24. Er...nope dude. Not even close. That right there would be Brian Lopes. He might have a few road bikes, but he's certainly no roadie.
