My partner cramped from 40km and had to pace him to the finish. but we finished. Hated the mud. Day 3, Loved every moment. until I heard something like a rock hitting my frame... looked down and saw a crack in the seat tube.... Stopped at one of the Subaru guys and got some "magic tape" aka duct tape out. Well we made it and would recommend it to everyone.... 17. I had the Aspect/Reflex FX-15. Excellent bike for All mountain rides and bumpy tracks. Just pump the shock to the correct pressure and it is virtualy a HT. Cornering is relaxed so short sharp turns is hard work until you get to know the bike.. Nice bike for long relaxed rides. If you want to win races... Go for a Hard Tail or a sub 10 kg dual. I enjoyed mine.
  18. Nellie You never too young to start stripping ... your bike and see how everything works perfectly... Seeing it is Campy... I use Prepsol to clean all components. Just remember to lube and grease the components afterward or use parifin(but prefered cleaner is still Prepsol)..
  19. I also have a set of Zefiro T50's. Light, strong and very responsive.... I tested the 404's before buying and yes they are noisy and expensive but great.
