Dont waste your money. It is R1000 and it looks all fancy, yet when we walked out of there nothing had been changed except the saddle height. The guy did not even bother to look at the handle bars, brake angles, bar angles, stem, nothing. Total waste of a grand. This was at Melrose, certainly will not go back.

Ok will do a screenie next time, if there is a next time. My BitDefender was adamant that The Hub was a no go area repeatedly for the first 7 hours of today, and pretty much screamed red at me. I even tried clicking on a "watch topic" link in Gmail but same thing happened. Interesting that other users are having the same problem.

Mod Note: This topic was split from the "Gmail Flagging all thehub.co.za emails as suspicious!" topic as these appear to be separate issues. Not having the problem with Gmail, but i have been battling to get onto the site since early this morning. My BitDefender has been flagging it with a Trojan virus and blocking all access. Only now have i been able to get onto the site. Never had this problem before.

I was about to reply to this and offer up my time and the use of my own photographic equipment... then i read further to where the OP confirms that the iPhone 4 is the photographic equipment required. Seriously? The use of a phone for photographic purposes of an event of this calibre takes away just about all credibility. Good grief. This has to be a hoax, or a wind up.

Anyone know how long Sportcam.net take to load the photos? This race is a major personal acheivement for me and i REALLY want my photos. I know i rode past two photographers camping out on the road side so i know i have a couple of photos waiting for my purchase. Was there a photographer at the Dischem?

The Dischem 65km nearly killed me as any hill murders me. Hoping this weekends 65km wont be as bad as the Dischem

Just keep riding. Five months ago i could not cycle 400m to the end of my street. Last week i completed the 63km Ride For Sight.

I am a Helivac member and it is on my ICE ID so hope they are not in trouble? Their admin is totally useless though. Been trying to get a membership card for months, and whilst i have one card, i cannot get another one or even my membership number over the phone.

I am wondering the same thing. At the R4S my heart rate was 165 - 175 almost the entire race. I did the 63km and it took me over 3 hours, being new to cycling and only getting fit / training for 6 months now. Today i still do not feel right, am still a bit dizzy and light headed and am now worried i have done myself a damage. And i want to do the Macsteel 65km too.
