There used to be a way to cross that park, cross over 6th street, through a hole in the fence and then a path around the field and down the hill to the big corner on Rustenburg (where Byron ends). That park had (has) a nice natural jump in it.
Perhaps. Maybe the guys have already tried them. I know Amarider was involved from the beginning. There are just too many granny groups who oppose everything. Basically we have given up trying to get permission.
We have been trying for close to 10 years to get permission and stuff done on the Spruit. Every time we nearly got somewhere there would be a new city parks person to deal with and everything went back to square one. The only thing we managed to do was kinda get permission through Delta school to build stuff on the school embankment. And they said we could make a path going down the treeline. We built ONE berm with a fallen tree in that section and they freaked. That's why Gav was threatened by Parks.
Yeah. Agree. But you also have to give it a week or two to adjust. Took me a couple of days just to get the bunnyhop sorted . Pedalling with flats took two weeks.
