  1. Jeez... At least with Crank Brothers you know what you are in for with reasonably priced, easily available service kits.
  2. Very nice Catgirl. Glad you got the Ragley? I must tell you that the bike wants a 140mm travel fork and a dropper post. Then it becomes extremely versatile. I don't even feel the need to run gears on it either. I was only a handful of seconds slower down Oom Piets top section on my Marley than my 5.5" full sus. The handling is just sublime. It's managed just about every drop and jump that the Intense does.
  3. A soft tail just has some degree of flexibility in the rear triangle. It usually only gives a small amount of absorption/travel. Look at the pic of the Moots on the previous page. About 1 to 1.5" of travel. A dualsus will have an independent rear shock and pivots which allows the rear triangle to rotate about a point. Thus giving the frame anywhere up to 8" of travel.
  4. Honestly. Whatever works for your behind and you like its looks. The Speed She was under R300 when we got them. [edit to add] The Selle Italia Diva was 5 times the price and less comfortable for my girls but it looks very nice. They didn't like it...
  5. This is my wife's bike wearing a Selle Italia Ladies Diva from a year or two ago. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/IMG-20130501-00918_zpscf65200c.jpg The daughter's Santa Cruz with the WTB Speed She http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/general/bikes/20130822_095617_zps1f9da5aa.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/general/bikes/20130822_095746_zpsf509af0d.jpg
  6. You are welcome to pop over and have a "look-feel-sit-on-try-out" before you hit the buy button*. I stay close to the Spruit in Blairgowrie. *I take no responsibility for you falling in love with blinged up 26" trail bikes after this experience
  7. The WTB saddles were under R300 but I think they sold out fast.
  8. Will do. Believe me, the first place he will advertise will be on the Hub.
  9. Since I'm not a girl I can only advise via the wife and daughter's recommendations. Both use the same WTB Speed She ladies saddle and they swear by it. Both of them have been riding for more than 10 years. Contact International Trade...
  10. Tell you what? His name? Not until it happens...
  11. I know someone who is looking to offer courses in the next year or two. Maybe sooner.
  12. Why? I like my Ragley (Marley) because it is much rarer than an On One.
  13. There is only one thing in my experience which makes drivers give you more space and it's not clothing... When I was commuting a number of years ago I found that the amount of space other vehicles gave me on the road was directly related to the speed I was travelling. Motorised vehicles tend to respect you more the closer you are to their speed.
  14. Eish. The one who can do that is not here today...
  15. Possibly rode it on other days not necessarily during the race...
  16. Nice. Although The Farm hasn't really got any boring sections has it...
  17. Awesome weekend. Thankfully the weather was brilliant on the day... Thanks to all who joined in the fun. I found the mampoer took the edge off and the ice cold beer at the end of each lap was refreshing. By the way, the mampoer shortcut cut out only a lekker little 2 minute loop.
  18. Haha. No segments no KOMs. Two things... watch out for potholes after Reitz if you come that way. The wind is pumping here at the moment. Bring a tent which can withstand an Arctic Gale. The trails are running awesomely. Tacky from all the rain. Oh and the sandstone is harsh with a hardtail. Even with 140mm of travel on the front
  19. Will see you Muthas there. I will Strava the route from the main road to the camp site in case anyone gets lost. Woof!!
  20. You should have got an email? Even suggested gearing etc... But yes there will be food on sale.
  21. I'd say the high saddles causes more falls than hardtails.
  22. Cool. Let us know when you want to start.
  23. It's okay. It was probably critical mass.
  24. Yes I ride with Wessel most mornings if I'm not doing skills... Usually earlier than 8 though but don't mind going longer.
  25. I have put that bridge back in place after just about every storm. I never trusted that bridge and usually bunnyhop it.
