  1. 5:00ish for me, see you on the trail.
  2. I'll see you guy's just now, I want to go over the pool area before it goes dark.
  3. My LBS recommends sending the complete headshock to the agents to service.
  4. Nice work Shaun. Thanks for the feedback. Please let me know what it costs for a sign. Also how would one go about having the Cradle route signage extended to Sterkfontein caves on the one side and Broadacres center on the other?
  5. I would if I didn't still have flu. Hoping to be on a bike again this weekend. BTW - The normal night ride people should be there, it is a Thursday night after all. markStockton2008-08-13 23:52:17
  6. That would explain how dumb I get after a hard climb. I often make really stupid mistakes after a tough climb, problem is this usually happens on a technical descent.
  7. Admit it M, you are a "Glass is half empty" kinda guy? Where some see R 80.00 in petrol, others see a really good warm up ride.
  8. Maybe I should add, I think Goat Trail is R 10.00 per day. Braai fires provided as well.
  9. I think the accident was a hit and run.
  10. If you buy a 10 or 20 visit ticket here are the rates for Northern Farm and Rietvlei: - NF 20 visits = R 180.00 (R 9.00 per ride). - NF 1 day pass R 18.00 - RV 10 visits = R 100.00 (R 10.00 per ride). - Cheaper annual pass also available. Hopefully the Fourways bike park remains in this range and does not head to the Logwood extreme.
  11. Yesterday I left City Deep at 16h00 and used the M1, Jan Smuts Ave, William Nicole Drive, Main and Witkoppen Roads to get to Fourways. The whole trip from south of the city center to Fourways Vet, 45 minutes at peak hour. I wouldn't attempt this trip any other time.
  12. I must say that Oswald has been one of my biggest inspirations recently. Just watching him compete in the Energade Triathlons last year inspired me to get off my fat @ss, loose 15kg's so far (yes, more to go), and get fit. Donation will arrive shortly. I really wish Oswald the best and hope to see him competing again at the Energade series this year.
  13. It should be said that a lot of the route has cycle lanes where it is perfectly safe to ride 2 abreast. In the motor cyclists defence, a large group of hogs came through (going to Teak Place I think) on Saturday morning riding in a perfectly respectable manor, it was a pleasure sharing the road with them.
  14. He sits with his hand raised. Big problem, they really don't care how close they get to you either.
  15. I can't say I'm a fan of either system, both are very cumbersome and have far to many steps to complete. However I must say that the Cycle Lab calendar is a gazillion times better.
  16. http://www.hellopeter.com/comp_comment.asp?cid=22 Take a look, it seems they post complaints about Hello Peter as well. Furthermore, for those bleating about posts against companies disappearing, it would seem this occurs when the complainant post multiple complaints multiple times about the company.
  17. I'm not defending either Outsurance or Hello Peter, however a very large number of South Africas top corporates have been listed as those who respond. Furthermore Hello Peter has been of service to me on more than one occasion. It is amazing how listing a complaint on Hello Peter manages to cut through corporate red tape and get thing's sorted out. I would not like to do business with a company that is not listed as one who responds on this site.
  18. Here some stats from Hello Peter (http://www.hellopeter.com) Compliments vs Complaints Outsurance 277 555 33% Initially I couldn't find SA Eagle, however it would seem this is because they don't respond to complaints lodged on the site. I'm sure glad I'm not insured with someone who doesn't respond.
