    Rugby...

He is a good ref, communicates well with the players, is up with the action, speak English. He had to give JJ that card as he carded WP for cynical play moments before. Would be interesting to see how many cards on average happen now. I would estimate at least 2.5 on average. WP also fining players for yellows now

  12. Meanwhile in another thread "Cycle shops never take the phone!" ....
  13. Have the MTB shoes, good quality and robust but sizing was a problem for me. I actually found the toe area very cramped when compared to the Sidi's I bought after. The inner sole is awesome and I actually using it with the Sidi's

    Cricket......

Yes, exactly as I said. That didn't mean he batted for his average but didn't have the skills alla AB to increase the rate the moment the captain waved his hand. His test strike rate was similar to Steve Waugh, who, very few would consider a negative batsmen. Servant of the game

    Cricket......

that makes sense, but Faf used to bowl a bit. From what I recall maybe a better/different option to Elgar. Although his leggies could get smashed out the park pretty quickly. Maybe he just tired from facing 100'2 of balls every innings

    Cricket......

Well said on all points, I also wonder why Faf doesn't have the odd bowl

    Cricket......

People saying Kallis played for himself don't know much about cricket. Not every player is AB and can switch from test match to T20 style between overs. When Kallis started his career there was no T20, reverse sweep, dilscoop, reverse switch hit ect ect. Kallis also adapted over time to meet the demands of the modern game. His T20 average is slightly lower than AB, one of the most versatile batter around. Next I suppose he bowled for himself and took catches for himself as well
  18. You will probably have to wait around and have two beers by the time I finish. My Burger time was 4hrs so I would imagine something like that again.
  19. That makes sense actually. I rode 2h30 odd last year, which, as a mid pack riders matches 600m of climbing over 65kms .... Looking forward to a nice challenge this year!
  20. 1464m as per Arnold, one of the organizers .................but when you look at the profile when compared to Die Burger it doesn't add up. Either way ... ill still ride it
  21. I dunno, looking at the profile I struggle to see where they find 1400m+ of climbing. Ill give them a call and let you all know
  22. +1 exactly my recollection
  23. That profile looks more like 600 than 1400 ....
  24. http://www.pedalpower.org.za/index.php/event/swartland-mtb-funride-6/ I copied and pasted from PPA website.
  25. The 65 km route takes riders to the top of Swartberg from where you can see all the way to Table Mountain and across the Swartland on a clear day. Be ready for a technical downhill that will test both brakes and downhill skills. The downhills have rocky sections that need to be navigated with care. Climbs, descents and flat sections are evenly dispersed, with about 11% single track; 15% easy gravel roads and the rest on ‘tweespoor’ jeep tracks, with some 600m of climbing. ....................... doesn't seem over difficult? 600m of climbing?
