Often with some assistance on the ball ...TV was different in the 90's. You didn't see nearly as much as now. Still rate Steyn higher - the grew u in sub continent conditions, he did not. He can perform on all types of surfaces .. also a better batsmen than both of them. I was just pulling your leg re the 12th man

Not a bad side ...I would include Kallis instead of Haynes and then open with Lara or Gilly. Possible Steyn for Wakar - I know he is a lefty but McGrath (accuracy, line and length) Ambrose (Pace and bounce, fear factor bowler), Steyn (Swings it both ways at pace, good in all conditions)

    Cricket......

The guy is in his mid 30's .. how many seasons should they invest in him. 15 games / 30 innings is more than enough time. We certainly wouldn't continue with an opening bat that averages 17 would we? Rather blood in a youngster whilst we have a very strong attack to support him.

And im glad he showed it, he looked a little scared in his first few innings. I was referring to arguing with she-been about who should open. Agree on your point re Cullinan .. plus he is the biggest douche

Gives good perspective on Elgar's innings. It pains me to say it but you were right about him. Although I still believe QDK to be the better talent.
  19. Don't be, its not like she has you swimming next to Rynard! She is very welcoming and don't mix her words. She had no problem telling me im just lazy and needed to work harder. The pool does take some adjustment, especially to find a sweet spot in the middle and not touch the front of the pool. The feedback session is were the real value is.
  20. Road works on the N7 means more like 4 hours ..... considering petrol and entry its not worth it unless you going to stay the night and party it up. Maybe go up the night before and 3 events?

Elgar can turn his arm as well. I think the side has good balance, 3 seamers, attacking spinner, two decent part timers (plus Faf as well), back up wicket keeper, QDK could also cover as opening bat if there is an injury.
  22. But I think that the point he is making ... you see an 'unbelievable' deal and you investigate ....only to be misled
  23. That's interesting - would like to know more about linking sufferfest as it consists of race highlights from various races
  24. I was referring directly to using sufferest, as you stated. No software of link to IDT and really good videos.
  25. I was not the only person to run out of water on the last single track bit, which was a lot longer (or maybe I was just that slow) that it appeared on the map. Last year it was particularly hot by mid day when us back markers came through
