Thanks - ill give them a go. Ive tried the cramp ease/blockers before without success but havent cramped like that since IM a few years ago. Had a major sense of humour failure as every marshall had a different distance to the finish, no water and those damm flies .... Was cramping so badly I even walk around the dam to the finish....
Very tough day for me - was at the 88km mark in about 4h30 but finished in over 7hrs due to cramping and having to walk most of the last 15-20kms. Thanks to all who stopped to help with water and words of encouragement
Most important - EL does not have enough restuarants for all compeditors/family ect. So either book or get there early else you will wait 3 hrs for a really bad meal. I know its specific to IM70.3
There is cheap accommodation close by - citruscreek R250 for chalet. They have a 9 hole golf course so leaving work a little early and hopefully get 9 holes in

A friends sold an SLR camera and received an SMS and email confirmation - both were fake and he posted the camera based on that. He called the guy up (who all of a sudden had a difference accent) and the guy just laughed at him and told him he was an idiot and he would send the camera back if he deposited another R5k. Which he obviously didnt do - so I can understand the reflecting in bank account part.
