  1. Noooooo that is really sad to hear. RIP legend!
  2. Sweet! Yeah - normal stages are 3 hours of waiting, 30 seconds of grabbing free merch and 20 seconds of a fast blurry peleton. TTs have a far broader drinking window!
  3. Mhlengi Gwala. It was some weird jealousy fuelled insanity. They tried to saw his leg off....
  4. The prologue goes right past my shop. Living in Europe has some rather random and fortuitous benefits ????????
  5. The line between ebike and emotorbike is getting kinda faint ???? https://www.blessthisstuff.com/stuff/vehicles/cycles/vanmoof-v-hyperbike/?fbclid=IwAR1x3dUjfLZA2u9N_Kwn_Yrne6MMTcGWIfLX0d983_qOlgxXhHrUqW-zYmI That would be an awesome bike for some fun inner city commuting!
  6. Is it a legal requirement for foreigners in Swiss to have their sense of humour surgically removed?
  7. Oh please....Ironmen, Epicers and Augusteers can only dream of the achieving the lofty heights of paying for a Zwift subscription.
  8. Zwift is missing several tricks when it comes to gamifying the experience! Grand Theft Zwift!
  9. The new update will have motorised muggers that you need to avoid to earn more drops - not the "follow the yellow flag" guy any more....
  10. Putting Norway and SA in the same sentence when talking crime is laughable. More people are murdered in SA every 2 hours than died in the Norway attack. In SA crime didn't bother me too much but daaaaamn once you live in a place with (almost) no crime you realise exactly how hardened you had become to it and how much better life can be without it. Turns out the guy responsible for the attack in Norway is Danish! Rather ironic given that Copenhagen just won safest city in the world. Apparently we export our crime!
  11. Giant are not going to be happy to lose their crown! To be fair they only have to buy a small company and they'll be back on top....
  12. Have you seen one in the flesh? Much more copper/blue than green/brown. That said I would have preferred the naked carbon like the 60 year anniversary bike (but without all the extras and the eye watering price tag!!).
  13. The problem with Danish winters is that they salt the roads - the salt combined with the fine coastal sand we have here is not great for bikes!! I ordered the GRX version below - the upgrades have already arrived - new crank and wheels.
  14. Exactly this! In pics it looks out of proportion and a bit weird - in the flesh it is amazing. I placed my order after working on a customer's 3T. The quality is seriously impressive - paint is perfect, all the holes for calipers/water bottles etc are precisely machined, the thru axles are designed nicely to integrate into the frame. The Ridley Kanzo FAST was my first option but after seeing the 3T I placed the order. The only issue I have with the bike is the cable entry just behind the stem. It is pretty messy....
  15. Daaaaamn! I have an Exploro RaceMax on order - it has been delayed twice and the latest delivery date is Dec - just in time for the harsh Euro winter ???? I would sell a kidney to get it in the raw carbon finish. Patience Eldron patience.....
  16. Crime happens in all countries - it's just the severity and amount that changes. A lot in some places. Easy for me to say - I officially live in the safest city in the world ????

  18. I freed an alu seat pillar from a Cannondale Topstone yesterday using a combination of ice packs, penetrating oil and the seat clamp in a bench vice. It looked like someone had glued it in there. No corrosion or anything. Weird...
  19. "Great" is a relative thing. It IS great for many people - it ISN'T great for you. They buy them - you don't. Everyone wins.
  20. The DIY test is in one of my previous posts. Surely between the 4 fitters you got your pelvis measured?
  21. Do the DIY saddle test and let us know the result. That is the first step in finding the right saddle. That said - just about everything on a bike affects saddle comfort. Have you checked to see if your saddle is completely level?
  22. Here is a DIY method for measuring pelvic width: And some info on the pelvis: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelvic_inlet
  23. Have them measured professionally. 65mm is not possible. 115-135 is the normal range...
  24. Where is the pain? Lower back, knees, hands, shoulder/back? Have you been measured up? If 4 bike fit places have tried and failed I would guess you have some kind of unique issue. LLD, Abnormal torso/leg ratio, sever muscle imbalance, poor flexibility etc. In over 1,000 fittings I have not had a customer in severe pain after 20 mins. Hell - I haven't had a customer in pain after 20mins and this includes people with slipped discs, disc fusions, football knees, mangled ankles etc. There has to be a unique reasons why you're in pain.
  25. No worries. I love my job and could happily talk about it all day (and I do mostly!).
