  1. @ SLOWBEE, Coffee Republic is a Franchise from the UK, however the local Licensee has secured it through Dubai I believe. Has taken over the OLD Starbucks sites in SA and is about to open in Canal Walk and I see that he has a shop in CWC Mega Store.
  2. @ Hairy & Tiny K Our roastery is in Buiten Street, Cape Town. We currently don't supply to the Public, but you are more than welcome to visit and have a coffee, Our beans are time of year / crop dependent. But we can plunge a cup of Costa Rica or whatever else has just been roasted. "G" our roaster is always happy to talk through brewing methods for different single origins. PM me if you would like a trip around the place. Cheers
  3. @ Hairy, Better idea, just ride the Joberg2C. We give a Mug and FREE coffee for 9 days!
  4. @Bat-Ass
  5. I know, I've been around the Hub long enough to know the Religion that is CWC . My question is not to slate CWC Online, rather an inquiry into how COFFEE REPUBLIC support SA Cycling?
  6. Dear CWC Online, I follow you on twitter as CWC Online is at the forefront of competitive pricing in our local market. I have bought from you both online and in store. I know you have a massive following on the hubSA and I know you generally respond to questions posed to you on this forum. Which is why I have come here vs wasting your time with a phone call. Yesterday, you made a twitter remark that We should support Coffee Republic, because they SUPPORT Cycling. Please elaborate on how they support the sport? I am involved in the coffee industry and would like to know how they have got involved in supporting cyclists? I am always looking to expand on my involvement, so am very interested to know. Look forward to your reply. Cheers
  7. Think BB30 and apply it to frame tubing, or is that think Cannondale frame tubing and apply it to a BB = BB30... Those guys at Cannondale are so smart! Big diameter, thin walls = Light and strong Here we go again, LIGHT STRONG CHEAP Pick two, okay so that's why Cannondales cost allot!
  8. It's better to drink the Malt, using it to clean your bike seems decadent? Covie, Just read the full thread and in short understand that you feel OP should have contacted Chris Directly Prior to posting. I have my own retail business, and as you are embarking on a MBA, "Interweb" is communication. I have a Google Alert set for my business name just in case somebody posts anything (positive or negative) on any of the 1000's of blog sites online. Then I can respond quickly and directly. I have made many new friends in this way. Because of the OP's efforts to "alert" Chris Snr via theHubSA their problems are resolved. Yours unfortunately seem to be ongoing. Well done to OP for actually airing his issues in a constructive way and an equal congrats to Chris Snr for a great response to his issues. Sort out that Service Booking Issue! before it bites you in the A$$ PS Ordered once from CWCOnline and was a great experience.
  9. He can't decide the layout. It's dictated by CSA, there are a whole load of regulations for position, size and Colour of the Stripes, plus Sponsor Placement on the National Champ Kit.
  10. Think he left off a Zero!
  11. Ja the Giro field is less impressive, Contador (TdF Champ), Nibali (Vuelta Champ), Mark Cavendish, Scarponi, Garzelli ... Horrible turnout. 21 days of Terrible Scenic riding. No mountains, no tradition and no Highways, what were the Italians thinking... The real question is...is the Giro the new TdF?
  12. All good, my reply was in reference to your comment that mtb is where you learn to ride a bike. Road / Track / MTB all have particular skills. Todays tragic event at the Giro shows us that cycling is dangerous. No more hijacks your point is understood
  13. Awesome, If you're on Twitter you can tweet the world that 2 Roadies just won Joberg2C, not bad for guys who can't point their bikes in the right direction! They seemed to find the finish line Just Fine, 5 Stage wins was it?
  14. whatever dude...tell that to Cancellara after losing this years Roubaix.
  15. That's why the clever guys at Thule gave us "Thule ProRide 591" Wheel stays on!
  16. Hey JB it is to attach a lefty to a standard roof carrier!
  17. Shop Around, Free market there on the 'ol Interweb. CRC is a bit more, but free shipping brings them in line 9/10. Road, Total is still the best!
  18. Piki, I replied to your sms! Said I had three spokes available, past that it's up to you. I can't fly them to Botswana! Cheers
  19. OMG Yawn! Anybody seen Mbeki? Who Cares?
  20. I have bladed AC420 spokes for sale. They come in a pack incl. Front wheel, Rear wheel Drive Side and Non Drive Side. Pm me if you want them
  21. At a cost of 5,000 british pounds! Frame, fork, post and crank me thinks I will not be on the waiting list!
  22. Hey there, I rode the Argus after not having ridden for almost a year, rode a 3h11 from 'B'. Chilled and good fun! I have never ridden lower than A / VA so to see the race from the back of this group was a riot. In answer to the above comment, the only guys I saw causing crashes were the leaders from the faster guys in Groups behind, they would catch up, 'literally SCREAM in panic to keep left, hold your line!' all while the rest of their 'Race' group where trying to squeeze through the very side they were yelling at the guys to stay! HaHa what chaos.... Viva Fun Rider World Champs, Viva!
