hahaha what a laugh, personally I would not pay to ride with any cyclist/celeb. Yup he is a great marketer of the Livestrong Brand. Yup he is a great charity contributor... I'm cooler! I started a small / medium business in 3rd world SA that supports 600 families directly, not charity, just good old skills development and job creation. A real sense of worth for guys who now support families. I never won 7 Tours, in fact I never won any! But hey my marriage is succesful, so in that way I'm cooler than Lance! never great news, on the topic of safety / law. this will never be resolved. Bottom line is in order for it to work you need courtesy from all road users, unfortunately, here in SA (particularly) gauteng, courtesy is a swear word. It's all about me myself and I. Pity that's what we have to deal with. I find there are groups of people who want to co exist on the road and others that hate cyclists. Friction will always exist between these guys and us. Riding single file is unrealistic over a 3.5 hour ride even a 30min ride. Find good routes and try and think of everyone on the road. SELF policing is better than any carrot or stick.

For 2010 CAAD9 comes with a BB30 Bottom Bracket, so for a bit more you can get a SI SL Hollowgram Crank, Drop the weight to under 6.6kg and you in for R40,000.00! Add some EastonSLX EC90 wheels and you are +- 6.2kg at R42,000.00, plus it's rigid as hell. New Bianchi advertised at 110,000.00! Almost 3 CAAD9's for one Bianchi...

Alu, find a decent CAAD Cannondale and you will never look back. Light, Rigid and Great Geometry for your height.

Thanks for the comments. The Decals are airbrushed and then pinstriped. The blue was matched with the blue anodised stuff. The cost was R1700 incl. Fork. I must say that I read all the negative posts about cycleart, so far nothing but professional and enthusiastic. Cliff followed the instructions to the T. I'll build the bike during the day tomorrow and then post pics.
