  1. Have a look at this from SSM
  2. Scorpione ,what does that frame go for?? PINARELLO Paris frame, fork and seat post goes for about R28000. Price is similar to the C50 if I recal correctly.
  3. Lightweights are probably the best around at the momement. Of course if the wheels cost three times more than the bike, well then maybe Zipps should be your choice. Got this 58 cm PARIS down to 6.6 kg with Lightweight wheels.
  4. Maybe this one is stronger....
  5. I would go for this.....
  6. Indeed
  7. Money talks, bullsh*t walks!!!!
  8. In terms of rating, I would place Rapid 2nd from the bottom of the pile. There is only one worse than rapid and that is anatomic. my 2c worth
  9. Okay, maybe she is a he and he might be a she. Now for the real thing..... I must say, I prefer the first one.
  10. Steel is REAL for me. Still ride my steel Pegoretti more than any of my other bikes. Dario Pegoretti is a legendary frame builder and it's worth the 6 months waiting period to own one of his frames.
  11. GOEDKOOP is DUURKOOP
  12. for what bike?
  13. Indeed!
  14. The CIOCC Devilry ISP retails for R18500, frame only. PM me if you are interested.
  15. All Bianchis have a good warranty policy, so you cannot go wrong. my 2c worth
  16. Saddles like most things (frames, pedals, handle-bars, bar-tape) are completely subjective. I agree that the old Rolls saddles are comfy, but heavy. I also found the Regal to be on the comfier side of the scale, while the SLR and the Toupe on the opposite side, I never got on with either. shortlegs, you're spot on. The likes of Armstrong, Boonen, Bettini, MC Wen, Freire, Evans and many other ex and present pros prefer the heavier saddles like the Selle San Marco ROLLS, REGAL, REVER or CONDOR because they are more comfy than most others. What's not important to them is the weight of the saddle, but rather that its comfortable. My 2c worth
  17. Personally I think the main reason for packing up early on the Sat is to give the people that were manning the booths and racing the next day a "early night". Its hard work standing on your feet forever then doing a 95km dash the next day. My 2c worth.
  18. The Rolls by Selle San Marco is still very highly rated as a very comfy saddle. Check out www.sellesanmarco,com for a S.I.Z.E guide to choosing a saddle best suited to your profile.
  19. Got no messages. Daemon, tried to PM you again.....no luck.
