Any discount I offer my clients are out of my margin. 2013 prices are lower than 2014, and 2014 bikes are lower spec'd than 2013 shops looking for business will ALWAYS negotiate, even on current dated bikes some shops will be selling even 2012 bikes for full price. I can't afford to, and give big discounts to make space for next models. The dealer always takes the knock.

2013/2014 Momsen frames are good looking and comfortable on long rides. Scott had some issues around the BB and back wheel (some frames had back wheel rub on one side. I would start with a great frame (Momsen), wheels and suspension and upgrade the group when they need replacing. Only problem is the 2013 Momsen frames only have one bottle cage!

technically you could make any fold-up tyre tubeless, but some sidewalls are very thin and don't like rocks.

As a bike shop owner I can say they have some of the best service you will ever find, they make me look good! And they have great products as well!

These BB's are still very much available, your LBS should have one, no problem

I have the 510, friends have the 500. Biggest diff is colour touch screen v black/white button operation. Satellite on 510 better, and few minor functions on 510 better. Both are excellent, without any complaints form all users. Worth the extra 1000 bokke, I think so.

People ask and pay for items what each feel it's worth, simple. You are not forced to buy it, simply ignore the add and move on. You do not know where the seller is coming from, so you can't judge. My problem is people who want things at give-away prices, and then get upset if their "offers" are rejected. Since when is a 26" Giant Anthem with XT group set and Fox shocks worth R4500 after one year? Just because your buddy said so?
