You ous are boxing now. My take. If you want to dope as an amateur, then go ride yourself on your favorite route or trail to see how fast you can go, knock yourself out. If you dope and ride in an amateur race with me and tell me over a beer afterwards how well you did, and smile politely when I say well done, then I'm sad for you.
Eish, as a very non pro cyclist, I find the idea of us hackers using anything banned, illegal or more importantly dangerous just bizarre. I believe from reading here over past few days, that there are plenty who indulge, but for me, no thanks bud. Maybe naive, but actually not complicated. There's no grey here. It's on the list or it's not.
Well done, good effort that. We had no price, was like a slidey mud-slide in the middle section. Amazingly a few ous did make it up but you needed a clear track ahead. Then belting down Puffadder was sport. I watched Joberg2C highlights last night, and I see they go UP Puffadder at about the 90K mark on the stage, after going over Spionkop. Haibo.
Why does this have to be complicated. Playing each of the 3 in separate games against different opposition in order to compare them is daft. Just pick one and play him in all 3 games ( that's one of Pat or Elton) , can't keep hedging your bets dude, at some point you got to decide. Me, I'd pick Pat and get on with it.
No disrespect to Jaco Taute, who I suspect is a better 15 than 12 or 13, but if they dont pick Gangnam to start , then I got issues. Low enthusiasm is a good way to put it bru. Also battling to get excited without Bryan unfortunately, but oh boy , if they got the balls to start with Rhule, we might see a trick or two.
Now THAT thing broke my heart. Losing to better side on the day like in the last 2 Currie Cup finals, you just got to take on the chin, but that Super 14 final will burn forever in the hearts of Sharks everywhere.
There was plenty racing going on around me, that's for sure. Batches work really though, amazing how you seem to end up riding around and seeing the same faces all the way through. Ous were racing down Puffadder at pace!
Hope it's accurate Stretch, but you'll have a jol anyway, even if it rains. Parts of the track are so wet ( small parts) that I don't think it will dry completely for months, but it's all good. The route coming down off Spionkop is amazing.... In the slidey bits sometimes you just go sideways, good sport and good for a laugh. All in fantastic route, even with the detour, got to ride in the most awesome areas and scenery, and down a flat out pass that I didn't even know existed. Well done to all involved.
Not just the upfront cost of the bike, but the ongoing , regular and expected maintanance. We ride these MTBs in conditions and places that are going to hurt the bike's bits. That's part the of deal with our sport, but find myself spending more on bike than car servicing sometimes. Things like 600 ZARS for a tyre is bizarre. With 6 bikes in the family it gets silly.
Nope. Will be service centers at the race village to replace stuff like that for you if needed. Just make sure your pads are good to go before start. Might need them on day1
Province aaaalmost took a quick line out throw when the last kick went out before they called it back to where he kicked for carried back. That would have been curtains if they had. I really rate Elton, BMT player, who is going to thrive at Stormers next season. Watch him and Juan punch a few holes to run off.
