The problem with the nespresso jobbies is those pods get expensive. They do make a nice cup. So after a year i would have been financially better off if I bought a 5K bean to cup machine. When we did the original math we drank one or two cup each a day. Nice coffee makes you drink a few more. First world problems

Last year I had to abandon day 2. Got I lift with people that followed their riders around. They camped. The Thing is they dont really cater for spectators/seconds or crew to follow around. So you camp "outside" of the camp.

I ride ss now 80% of the time. I walk into the garage and I take the ss. Has any one compared their geared vs ss average speed. on the same routes. I find that I am only about 15% slower if it is single track. ( Braamfontein spruit,Delta park, Albertsfarm route) Things to consider. I havent ridden my geared bike in anger all year and I chase every thing on the ss. My legs feel more damaged after a ss session.

Take a nappy(Disposable/very ungreen) . Fold it inside out. shove it in the shoe. It wont be bone dry but It soaks up a bucket of water overnight. Yes I do pack nappies when doing a stage race.
