  1. Could be done...if interested I will take some pics and e-mail them to you.
  2. What type of Bakkie do you have? I made myself a very nice rack that fits on the tonneau cover of my Colt, even takes the tandem. Very cheap and easy to fit/remove. Also very stable....Frenchy2009-11-11 06:37:52
  3. Spin twice a week with a instructor that is a cyclist himself and also does Ironman etc. Presents his class with the cyclists in mind and uses HR. One can really see that he is serious about his name as a instructor and has a great attitude....and that is in one of the two well known Gym groups, not a private business.
  4. Thanks for posting the pic splat......you made her day. Any possibility of putting a copy of People's Post with the pic in the post for her? Another interesting piece of info, after the crash she could not get the chain on as she needed both hands to hold on to the bike, she says anothe pic was taken with her bike flapping in the wind like a dish cloth with her holding on on the top tube...Frenchy2009-03-15 07:45:03
  5. Yes, she started in QQ. She told me that you had a chat but she could not remember your name...must be the wind. She actually rode in her big ring from where the pic was taken to the finish.
  6. Hi Guys, this is my wife...Mrs Frenchy. Wind blew her off the road, minor damage to the elbow and painful hip.....she got the chain on but could not shift properly and had to cycle up Chappies in her big blade. Usual time around 4 hours but did this one in 6. Very proud of her
  7. Condolences to the family. Very sad news.
  8. Praying for you Estelle and Gerhard.
  9. Speedy recovery BH .
  10. Stayed there last two years in caravan......had a great time and did not experience extreme cold weather. Showers very busy after the race but not so bad. Very close to start and finish.Frenchy2009-01-27 06:54:23
  11. Great bike......thanks for the pic.
  12. Thanx BH. We tried some of this with mixed results. Problem is also when we stop and dismount it gets all confused again. Will try your regimen.
  13. Me and the mrs both use Polar CS 200 on our single bikes without any interference up to now. Started to use it on the tandem but chaos, major inreference. So much so that I now ride without my strap and only measure cadence and speed. Any advice from other tandems?
  14. Speedy recovery Ben! Trust that you will remain the very popular and skilled bike mech....
  15. Why? its dangerous! And it hurts... Please don't tell my wife......
  16. VERY NICE......but what about the price tag?
  17. Good to hear. Thanks bro.
  18. [ Frenchy, I think I get it now. What I do not yet know is whether you are more annoyed that Mampara didn't peel you off the floor or he didn't like your yellow booties. Far out friend....sorry to dissapoint you. No yellow booties and my face is still in one piece.
  19. During the past months of reading posts on the Hub, I really started to ''like'' Mampara and actually thought that I could learn from his comments. Mampara, to me you sounded wise and I actually would have liked to meet you, and chat with you. I know you will not have sleepless nights about loosing a potential friend, but I must say that your attitude in this post really sucks, and I do not like you anymore. I think you are full of pride and actually are a fool. Enjoy your day. Good luck to all the beginner MTB,s out there!
  20. Job well done Zas. Enjoy!
  21. Very nice bike Joss, congrats and many hours of joy!
