Did a loop of most of the farms this weekend. Bloemendal - Hillcrest - Contermans - Hoogekraal - Faircape . In awe of the natural beauty of the land around us, it's a massive privilege for us to be able to share it with the private land owners. A massive shout out to them and the trails builders and the TygerbergMTB club keeping them open for members. Chapeau to you all !!

Great to hear that Cape Nature involved. Tyberberg MTB club also signed up as affected party. Will hate to have to stare at a another quarry in the area. Protect the Renosterbos ! ????????

Will be a very sad day if we won't be able ride there. This is for sure one of the best trails in the country.

Hi Guys, seems like Cpt Citi Council putting a lot of emphasis on trying to resolve Citi traffic congestion, they have a platform where general public can comment on concerns and ideas. Would be great if we can get as much comments as possible towards the safety concerns around the mugging hot spots on the cycling lane ( Woodstock - Paarden Island) Word from the inside is that they are actively looking at this portal on concerns and suggestions. Have had Luvhandles on my bike for awhile, and not only is the price unbeatable the quality is of highest standard and I could choose the colour combo to match my bike! Loving my Luvhandles!

Dual suspension much more forgiving than Hard tail, added a HT race machine to the bike quiver start of 2015.. Have had many more offs than when riding my DS. Also not touching my PB's going down on my local trails. Going up is different story though.. the couple of seconds I loose going down I'm taking back in minutes going up. I like the "connected " feel of the HT on the trails but miss the comfort and forgiveness of DS. Just remember N+1.. you need both!

Just as we as a cycling community in Cape Town need to rally for support to help against the muggings on our routes, these idiots come and give us a bad reputation! With some CSI image enhancement tech one would be able to identify them by the league numbers on their seatposts...

This is not good! We're not safe out there anymore. Got a contact that can get this pepper spray which apparently packs a nasty punch @ R90 a pop. Not sure what other products are out there but this one's got nice strap which can be attached to bike/bag etc. If any Hubbers are interested let me know can try and get a few of these.

Really enjoyed Sat race! managed to hang on to the G-H group which caught E-F.. Those Cedar guys were in a hurry! although not all of them making the wisest decisions at times... At one point very misty and one of them on the opposite side of the white line... recipe for disaster! Big up to the laaitie in the GU kit who got stuck in! Any Hubbers in G-H seeding? Will be great to put a Hub train together sometime.

Hardest race I've done. DC team ride started in M. 3 technicals within first 15km's... On the turn team started to drop like flies. Only 4 of us made it together to the finish. A lot of work still to be done... Cape Dr didn't play nicely today!
