The desertion fear is very real. I do not know how high the water temp has to get before the frog realises it is about to be cooked. But I do know, we (I) need to decide, either get out to cooler water, or stay in and make do. Because this sitting on the fence is not helping the health, nor any business decisions, nor any other decision. (Yes, I am fully aware of the business risks and all the other risks etc etc etc).

The hardest part right now, is the aging parents and being "the glue" of the family. Asking to leave them behind is not so easy.

I must say, the football being played is so much better without the crowds and supporters. Less theatrics and more good football. Better team spirit all round. Even the managers and coaches are more focused on the football than the theatrics. Non of this run to the crowds and shout like a twit and ignore the team mates who actually made the goal happen. It is actually run towards your team mates and celebrate with them. No disrespect towards the ref. Overall the football just seems better and the quality just seems better.

I would not mind taking one of those new landies down van zyls. Tour Northern Nam for a week. A demo model of course, with a RTT. And some goodies in the back, maybe towing a mini caravan.
