  1. OK, something is wrong, two hubbers have used common sense, decent discussion and come to an amicable solution. This cannot be. Covid must be inside the matrix . Nice to see decency still exists here. Take a bow you two. #whywekeepcomingback
  2. I have also pinned this. As the info becomes available it will be very useful.
  3. We tested the in reach while in Zambia, worked the bomb. Just the data was an issue.
  4. Hey Guys. I am looking at buying a delivery van from a Ford dealership in the Sandton area. Is there is a hubber who (hopefully knows something about cars) could go and take look and a test drive the car before I go ahead with the deal? Drop me a message if you can help out. When the ban ends I can pay in a few cold ones or some of your favourite coffee beans.

  6. While many would disagree with this, I would be happy to pay a project management fee for your efforts. You declare what you bought the parts at, what you sell them at and a storage/installation/carry the expenses till its sold cost, so I can judge the level of equality in the deal to find it if it is worth my going through the effort. As I said, many would not agree with this idea as there are pro's and con's. But just a suggestion.
  7. Who the heck uses CD shuttles ? The sub woofer is a different story though.
  8. Sounds like car dealerships on trade ins!
  9. Wayne is this the ss one ? Courier an option ? Looking for one for my gardener

  12. Man there was a thread about this a while ago. Let me go see if I can find it. I know of a few hubbers who have been through this. I hope some of them post here to help you out !
  13. In the ongoing dramasaga, I got to ride a large scalpel si3 over the weekend. The thing fit like a glove. I mean it was comfy as is, without even having a fit done I felt like I could ride it for days. The price however was not a good fit. From the same shop I had the chance to ride a 2012 camber L. While not as comfy first time, a decent fit could get it more comfy. I was very much not over bar as with the medium. But the camber being older, had a better price at R22k (it is in the classifieds). So now I have to decide on the future.
  14. So here is a question for the Hub brain crowd. If I were to buy a large Cannondale Scalpel Si frame, would all the parts from my Spez Camber 2017 model fit ?
  15. But only if you have yellow.
  16. Lucky back water country roads together with the TransB. and 360one do not have to many twists. The odd twist at Sani is there, but like in the old days of solid steel suspension designs. You just simply ride whats in front of you. Like a medium that does not fit well #justride and stop whining!
  17. GOOOOOOOO Tim !! Hope you are still involved as part of the outsourced model. Well at least I hope that is the case.
  18. Seems like it might be towards a large. Taking corners slow and steady are my thing. Non of this crazy pro let it all hang out type of thing.
  19. Thanks Spidey. With me being in Somerset West it make a trip to PTA a bit far.
  20. So went down to rockhopper and had a brief ride around on a medium. The first thing I noticed was I kept on wanting to move back on the seat. It is like I wanted the extra reach. Maybe a setback seat post might solve this issue. I sat on the large and the reach just felt "lekka". Ultimately, the best way to solve this is a two prong approach. First will be to contact the seller and ask who he uses to fit his bikes. Ask if we can go and see if we can get the large scalpel size to work for me. The other (and more cost effective approach), is to take my camber to be fitted with a set back Thompson seatpost I have from my titus. This might just give me the reach I want.
  21. Is the 2018 scalpel a more "race" bike compared to the camber ? A few reviews have rated the relaxed head angle of the recent scalpels to being a good thing and have taken the edge off the "race" feel.
