    Depends which line of the social divide you are on. The bottle stores are packed and ques a mile long. Everyone wearing masks. Ar our local petrol station, where you pick up the staff. about 1 masks in every 50 people. At the taxi rank, maybe 1 mask per 100.

    A quick question for you photo dudes. In looking at mobile offices, I want to switch to a laptop. Small in size if possible (13 or 14 inch). But what speed (size) would you need to be able to process photos useing a desktop version of photoshop and lightroom and deep skystacker and video editing and run Microsoft office. i7 or i9 ? 8g ram ? Yes yes, I know you are all going to ask budget, but I dont know where to start. (asked this on the photo thread, but thought I might as well put it here too)

    At the moment, stress levels are going up and up which means the time is less and less and there is no time for a bike. The parasympathetic system is on full gas and the adrenals are pumping mad. The grounding that is needed to balance the system is still some distance into the future.

    The photo of the trolley is actually from s/west. It is outside Crawford steel and aluminum. If I remember correctly the name on the trolley is Montego (dog food).

    AT about 8.45 .. he says going up the hill at 8k's an hour and feels cooked .... I had to laugh, 8k's an hour like top speed for me up chappies. Never mind steeper and at altitude. Eina

    I guess this is it, for everyone. We all need to decide with who and on what we will spend our money. I do not like the way they handle themselves and so choose not to spend any money there. No matter how good the "sale". Would rather pay more to my local LBS and wait a few extra days. I guess at some point, your principles can be bought. Maybe not now, but some time they will be. (this is not related to CWC or CL but business in general).

    Is CWC not the same as CL ? From my perspective, the constant sales where a few hubbers picked up pricing discrepancies. Throw in the sales not having stock and you get recommend something a little more expensive and there is plenty of stock of the pricey item. Then when I go into the store, I get treated terribly and service takes forever. Of the many times I went in, I got the impression that the good customer service is only for the big money spenders. The final nail was I bought a bicycle and it turned into a terrible experience. All of this is of course my own opinion and experience, since many other folk have had amazing experiences with them. Just not me. All this led me to me no longer trusting them, nor wanting to support them. As long as there are other cycling stores in the western cape and other online stores on the planet I will not spend a single cent in that store or on the website again.
