  1. I want to ask you guys. Has what is going on with CWC at the moment, caused damage to your relationship with them? The apparent confusion of emails, no returns of calls, and general bad comms suggests a lack of customer service (and one might suspect a few others things). But at what point will you guys say never again with shop (or supplier) because of a breakdown of trust or principle. Or will you always be willing to spend your hard earned money at the right price?
  2. You know the poo poo is in the paw paw, when Uncle Fanie throws his toys.
  3. COLD !! About 2 sets of tonsils cold !
  4. It is a huge relief to be able to go out with them. Working early mornings and getting ready for school, it was weekends only. And then the adults wanted a lie in. So now am grateful that we can go for a walk. I fully intend to drive some distance to do some exercise
  5. Do you guys do those UV arm thingies ? (my cart is getting full!) Also that vizi long sleeve cycling top - is it same material as a normal cycling top ? Then I can wear one short and not have a short shirt and UV arm protector thingies.
  6. Need some bibs to use on the IDT that can get washed everyday. Keep the nice ones for the long days out now that we can go out on our own.
  7. Andrew, is the wear direct your site ? Silly question - of course it is ! Do you have a sizing chart ?
  8. This caught me by total surprise. Did not know what to expect, but it sure was not this! Thoroughly enjoyable and kinda sad at the same time.
  9. Use the words, "heart rate monitor and associated parts". Will get there chop chop.
  10. When they catch you off guard and all the settings are wrong and you cannot get your fingers to move fast enough. These guys flew over the house. I heard the baby calling and just ran outsider with the camera. Plenty of post noise reduction and smoothing and editing and painting out tree branches. And kicking myself for not checking the settings first! A few seconds on settings would have got much better shots. But lessons learnt. Hopefully they will come by tomorrow at the same time and I will be ready. Ok, maybe not ready. African Harrier Hawk, aka Gymnogene

  12. All that profit of pre orders is being lost in sending out partial orders. Expect a visit from a courier with a CWC parcel two or three times.
  13. The Cape = Wind = Mavic Air. Will wait for black friday clear out specials, or any other specials.
  14. Glad you are ok Amber ! Pleased that someone was able to help you.
  15. Thinking the in the western cape, a little breeze could really hamper the flying. It would be terrible to buy something and not be able to use it, despite the great weather. And then a total out the box question. Anyone flow the drone late into the evening for sunset pictures ?
  16. Tank, how does the Mini handle wind ?
  17. No matter what extension you buy, always buy 2. You can never have enough extension. The plug is always that little bit to far away. Always.

I thought I read, "flip them the bird and give first prize to third place ".
  19. Oh yes, this is from my back yard a few nights ago. Inspiration from this guy: https://astrobackyard.com/
  20. OK, so not the best photo's by ANY stretch of the imagination. But my first attempt at deep sky photo's without using a sky tracker. The first image is Mimosa (of the southern cross) showing the Jewel Box cluster. The second is a zoom, and you can clearly see how out of focus everything is. These are stacked images, of 1.3s making 4 minute exposure. I used a 7dmk2 on a 200mm f2.8 lens. The 3rd image is of Wezen (star bottom left surrounded by an arc of stars) (part of Canis star cluster and on the right you can see the Canis open star cluster (you need to zoom in and see the specs of stars). A 3 minute exposure and out of focus.
