  3. Hey DR, you know I'm not like that! Took it out for it's maiden voyage on Sunday for 3 hours ................. didn't fall so it's still unscratched! Will use it for the first time 'in anger' at C/cruise.
  4. For those who missed it, here in it's full glory!
  5. Good thinking! Have a good one, I'm outta here. Was just checking about while I make some new MP3's for the player for tomorrow and Mondays long MTB rides. BTW HR where you stay?
  6. Those are the RavX ones, well spotted Mauritzvw! They cost a lot less than the Cane Creeks but I notice that the 'rubber' coating at the bottom ends are already worn away down to the metal. They work for me. HR - my boet rides with Cane Creeks and they are very nice and more durable but at a cost! Then again you gets what you pays for dontcha!
  7. Scared to go and ride it in case I fall and scratch it !
  8. My son raves about his first ascents so I guess they're good!
  9. I just had that frame done, I can't buy the powermeter. Marius you said that bling was more important!
  10. Don't know what mine is but I just lost 8 or so kilos in the last 3 weeks so whatever it was must have improved! SabieX mountains here I come !!!!!!! 5 to go before 14Dec!
  11. M - you need to transfer that same thinking to your MTB bikes now! An Epic should be in your short term future plans!
  12. Marius - That is a flippin nice bike! BigBen2007-09-21 05:51:47
  13. Mud's - I aint a fan of either but I believe these oke's are talking Rugby-Football and the others the gentleman's game of Cricket? But hey could be wrong!
  14. 8 bucks a Coke, flip bonus mate! I believe that at Spring Challenge Cokes were 10 bucks!
  15. Marius - with my now pimped frame I am looking at things very different, will have to PM you for some style tips
  16. HR - I can only aspire to such greatness (bows down to DR) but with shaved legs! hhhhhhmmmmmmmm I wonder if they do helmets ............................
  17. The kit to go with the new paint job! Helps to have a graphic designer in the family! Nice one casci!
  18. _BBI_ - I did try to keep it sort of within the Specialized type colours! My son rides the C/Fibre HT which has a similar colour scheme and since we're riding SabieX together thought it would look cool. Also though didn't want it to be exactly the same cause it isn't a C/F Epic S-works after all. Nice to have something unique though! And yes those StumpJumpers do rock! Now wouldn't these wheels look cool on it? (Photo courtesy of Daemon!) - from the other thread!
  19. Popped past on my way home, it looks really cool!!!!! Unfortunately not built yet but I guess I'll have it by the weekend. Having a major service at the same time. I am amazed at how well and true to the original Specialized stuff the logos etc. are reproduced.
  20. Thug - as far as I know they are either sprayed on or built up with Vinyl (Crux know's better!). I have yet to see it 'in real life' so don't know. .................. will be skiving off work early to collect it hopefully built this evening! Dirt-Rider - problem is the rider isn't!
  21. Before :- After :- Will provide better pics once it's built again! CycleArt did it.BigBen2007-09-22 12:18:55
