Had these 'old' Gipiemme Techno 416 deep sections, look a bit dated :- So sent them off to Cliff at CycleArt and ......... Heard a rumour they are considering re-locating overseas (like soon!), that would be sad!!!!!!!!!

After a crappy raining, wet and cold day yesterday with no riding to a great Gauteng warm clear blue sky day today! Rode 4 hours MTB with LittleBen. 3 hours of endurance and then an hour of technical on the Rietvlei Zoo Farm XC course. Rode everything, no foot down so very happy. Rode with the new Stylo cranks on the Epic. Very smooth, sure I was at least 0.005% faster!

Doesn't make sense now that I've read that but ja! We staying at Gecko Inn a house that I always rent for these occasions. I don't own a titanium Colonargo thingamig with Eyetie groupset and stuff, Etwerp is well off enough to get his own stuff! On the other hand Giant's are a dime a dozen so I may be able to swing 500ZAR to get him one if he wants to go that low! An RP23 on a Giant is like putting 20" spinners on a Camry Ok I'm outta here for an hour or so, let the 'flaming' begin!

My LBS (1 of them anyway!) owner is my daughters partner and she's pregnant with his baby. He aint making no strange moves so I'm covered there at least! Would never say anything without my confirmation! My bank manager/ credit card statement, now there's a different story, covering well so far! I have this theory that why don't bike shops register there official banking company as something obscure like 'XYZ trading', then when explaining things on the CC it could be some other article one has purchased for the home/car/garage perhaps?

YES YES YES! If only cause me and LittleBen are there . BTW BrotherBen and his partner will also be going. I found it very useful last year. It did help having seen the course before and being psychologically ready I guess. Besides that it was just a very lekker weekend and it not being a 'race' was more laidback and social. What better than being able to ride your bike for 3 days with no pressure and it's better than being at work on Friday thats for sure. So ......................... see you there
