Tyres still have plenty of life left but the 'sidewall mesh' is coming off.... haven't had any issues but it looks really crappy Considering to just snip it all off and carry on riding them? Thoughts ....

Interesting that I was asked a few years ago by a lady friend that was doing her first Epic what I would have done differently ... I said instead of those rushed up, over and back at Breedsnek a month before I would have walked, over and back a few times!

I wonder how much genetics has a part to play in the ability to ride fast enough to manage a sub 3 at CTCT? My gut feeling is that many do but not everyone has that and the other skills (positioning, bunch surfing etc.) to do it .... just thinking out loud
