  1. Watson is the best cricketer ever. There is no way we will get his wicket before lunch on day 3. Cursed you are Mr Watson.
  2. Yeah Steyn!
  3. Are you trying to curse him as well? But he is doing a good job as #11
  4. Agree. Steyn is no fool with the bat as the Ausies have learned on the previous tour down under and on a good day Morkel can hang around for a while. Highly unlikely, but if the last 3 wickets can take us to 400 runs, then the Ausies are screwed me thinks.
  5. The last time I checked his average was 241 . He never really set the world alight in the other formats of the game as predicted, but maybe test cricket is his thing. I sure do hope so. Only time will tell.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUH3JQjcweM
  7. Try to wheelie your bike for 10 minutes at a time. This is the only way you will get used to having your front wheel higher than the rear wheel. The opposite also applies. To train for the downhills you will have to do a front wheel wheelie.
  8. Kallis may only bat after the 92nd over. Hopefully that will not be too far down the tail so that he can at least have decent batting partner on the other end of the pitch.
  9. Well I don't know how you are going to do hill training without hills . I have done a 75km ride on Saturday with about 1200m elevation gain of which the toughest were 2 category 5 climbs (according to Strava) so I am fortunate to be surrounded with hills. The best advice I can give (that works for me, but I am sure there will people who will differ) is to get used to spinning, that will save the legs for the return 45km and the run.
  10. Now that is funny! The two gents' reactions when they saw what is happening But seriously, I don't want to know what you were googling to get that link.
  11. And the guy behind him has deep sea diving goggles on his head.
  12. Secret location you say. Arlingtoncycles.com?
  13. Agree. Brim1, if you can do some ocean swims it will help allot, but the fact that you can go further in the water than the race distance is already a plus. For the cycling make sure you do a fair amount of hill training and some brick sessions to get use to run when getting of the bike.
  14. Or "The original thread of awesome"
  15. I am pretty much in the same boat as you. This is also a recovery week, but next week the intensity is picking up.
  16. Less than 9 weeks to race day. Is it or ?
  17. Yip, seen it too many times on thehub.
  18. Done. Goodluck.
  19. Nope, even in the shade he looks a bit bleek like that Irish chick that was tanning.
  20. There you go: http://www.zports.co...2d-e00c294d278f Edit. Crap, I see now that the dates is not suitable for you, but there are many swimmers daily at Hobie Beach.
  21. Apart from cycling what other exercises do you do? Cycling basically works your legs and that is not where your problem is. Find another exercise that works on the areas of your body where you want to reduce the fat. I don't think you cant get a ripped six-pack from cycling and a healthy diet only.
  22. How was the legs on the run after the 1:21 coming back on the bike?
  23. Also did the 1km swim. I was 3min faster than when I did it in December last year, so I am happy about that, but I got sick during the last 300 meters. Sorry to the guy who was behind me
  24. Mine was something like this: Swim 43min Bike 3h16 Run 1h57 T1 + T2 11 min Sorry Dracs, I haven't done Argus or 94.7 . If you have done OFM last year (99km) then basically add 10min to your time.
